In times of festivities and celebrations, there'll be plenty of fireworks and plenty of sparks. NetEnt probably went into some sort of celebration with the release of their game Sparks, but to me, this Sparks was nothing more than a little bit of fireworks but with plenty of smoke! Those smoke blurred out the vibrancy of the game, making the graphics looking rather lame! Not something one would expect from NetEnt, not in this 21st Century anyway. Maybe they think we players are still in the 20th Century? Hmm, for movies, yes, 20th Century Fox movies. For games, we are 21st Centurions!

The first thing you need to decide before playing this game, is to play it pay-1-way or to play it pay-both-ways. Not for free of course. NetEnt won't give that, not for anyone! You want to play pay-both-ways, then you must pay for both ways too, simple as that. Is that good or bad? It can go either way, good or bad! Sheesh. I would rather have the game paying both ways right from the start, just like in some other similar games too, then I won't have to decide on which mode I wanna play. Saves me from getting some pain-in-the-you-know-where. "What the argh...I should have played this both ways", or "What the argh...I wouldn't have lost so much if I played 1-way". Things like that. But I guess NetEnt loves it whenever we players get into such miserable dilemmas!

The special feature in this game is the Expanding Cloning Wilds, unlike the usual Expanding Wilds which substitutes for any other winning symbol. This Cloning Wild would clone a winning adjacent symbol on the left or right of it, then make the opposite symbol on the same row into the same symbol. Confused? Oh gees, wish I could explain it simpler, but that's about it. Play the game and you'll see what it does. This Expanding Cloning Wild is differentiated from the normal Wild by its colour - a brown 'W' in a brownish background, with up and down markers on it. Why? Because this Wild can expand upwards and downwards, depending on the position of any winning symbol to clone. I can see some eyes rolling already! Hahaha.

The paytable is yet another "ooh gawd!" Nothing good can be seen in the paytable! 5 Wilds pay 500x the line bet, whilst all the other symbols pay from 200x down to 30x the line bet. Ooh gawd! The normal bluish Wild symbol doesn't expand. It's a true dumb Wild! Playing this game for long periods of time will definitely make you go wild! Wild with anger, wild with disappointment, wild like breaking the screen, and wild like an angry lion too, so please take note! Hehehe.

All my plays on this Sparks game produced sparks coming out of my ears, with smoke too! Not any nice wins, not any fully Expanded Wilds on both reels 2 and 4, it was always partly expanded, or fully expanded on one reel only. Getting both fully Expanded Wilds would pay big, even huge, but you'll have to wait for some festivity season to drop in to get it! Mine never came.

Sparks was released last year along with NeonStaxx which looked really cool. Definitely Sparks was in my taste and I deposited in Thrills Casino and tried this games right after its release date which was in July 2015. I didn’t know what to expect from this game which is colorful, neon look and comes with relaxing background sound which I never wanted to turn off.

I think I deposited 10 or 20 euros, with min.bet which is 0.20 and managed to cash out around 40 euros. That was my fastest withdrawal ever, money received within 10 minutes, believe or not, even before verification was done.

As I kind of disappeared from AskGamblers forum, I cant tell that I saw winner screenshots but I can tell you this games graphics and animations look great to me and this slot play two ways and you can chose how do you want play it.

There is no free spin neither bonus game which I prefer, the biggest win coming from Expanding and Cloning Wild symbols.

One look blue and like planet of the universe and the second one is W letter all in fire.

Most likely you will have more frequent but minor wins and it was disappointing to me and the reason why I decided to withdraw my winning and deposit at another casino and I think I played Immortal Romance and trying to win big which actually didn’t happened and I was so and very disappointed.

NetEnt used their newest HTML5 technology while creating Sparks,NeonStaxx,Stickers .. In my opinion Sparks game is worth trying, you are most likely to enjoy the game if you want to try new game and possibly win some cash.

No doubt I would like just as everyone else to keep winning and feel the adrenaline, cash out and feel like a Queen. Who knows, Sparks might be your game. You never know!

Sparks Slot is a game that comes with 20 pay-lines and 5 reels and that is created in the software company Netent. This is one of a large number of similar Netent video slot games that I call the Neon look games.

Usually, these games do not come with an extra graphics and animations and also that is the case with this game. Also, I really do not know the meaning of the symbols here. In any case, for the visual appearance and the graphics Sparks Slot will get a big minus from me.

Not only that Sparks Slot comes with a modest graphics but also this game has simple features that are easy to understand. In fact, this game offers only one feature and that is the Expanding Wilds Cloning feature. The symbol that activates this feature appears only on the second and the fourth reels. Besides the Expanding Cloning Wilds, the Sparks Slot also offers a standard wild symbol that can appear anywhere and that changes all other symbols except the Expanding Wilds Cloning symbol. Perhaps, the only thing that I liked here is that you have a choice between "win left to rights or both ways."

I do not play this game so often but when I play it I usually play mix i.e. a few spins with a win left to rights ways and then a few with both ways and so alternately. Last time I tried this game at Mr. Green Casino. After my deposit on the Mr. Green, the next day after 13:00 I received 50 free spins on Sparks. As I already have lost the deposit money I was hoping that here maybe I will have some bigger wins. But my overall wins in these 50 free spins was just 3.74 euros. The Return to Player is not counted of course after only 50 free spins, but in this case it was a disappointing 37.4%. Also I can’t remember that I had some bigger wins even earlier on this game. Sparks is one of the newest game which came from NetEnt software. It has 5 reels with 20 paylines. The minimum bet is set to 0.20€. The first time when I played this game was some kind of offer for free spins on this slot without any deposit needed.

I am happy when I received this kind of surprise from casinos and sure I tried it out with free spins. When I opened the game, you must choose which way to play it. You can choose between either ways or one way. I always select both ways; I prefer to play this because I think that will pay more but now when I tried one way I don't really think that this could change a lot.

This game offer expanding cloning wilds, the cloning wild symbols can appear on reels 2 and 4 and when it appears it will either stay the same, expand up or down or even in both ways. The symbols near to wild symbol will clone, so you can get full of screen of wilds and one symbol.

I think this mode of gameplay is new one at video slots and at the first I like it when I saw. But when I started to play it, I was a little disappointed. I expected more big winnings. I don't know if I could say huge because the paytable at this game is bad. It paid poor. When I used some of this free spins which I received I won only around 1€ never more than that. And because of that, when I saw how it pays I don't like it to play with my own money. Sure I will use free spins at this game if I will receive them, but for my own money I won't play it. Sparks is one of the latest NetEnt releases. When the game was first launched there were a lot of free spins offers from a lot of casinos to try the game. I used all of them and tried the game for real money a few times. Visually the game looks great and it reminds me of Starburst. The graphic and animations are good and the background music is calming so it won’t get boring after some time.

When I first played the game I didn’t quite understand what the catch is but after going through the paytable and a few big wins I caught on pretty fast. The minimum bet to play this slot is 20 cents because it’s a 5 reel, 20 payline slot. What’s interesting is that you can play the game with pays from both ways or only from left to right. I always choose both ways because you can win more like that especially when it comes to the feature. If you take a look at the paytable you will be disappointed because the symbols pay low and usually during base play you get small to medium wins.

This game doesn’t have a free spins or cash bonus only expanding cloning wilds. There is also a regular wild which can appear at any position. In this game the cloning wilds can land on reels 2 and 4 only. They can stay the same, move one position or expand to cover the entire reel. They clone the symbols from left to right. The trick in this game is to win high paying symbols on reel 1 and cloning wilds on reels 2 and 4. This way you will have 5 of a kind combinations both ways on all paylines and a big win. This will happen someday but usually you get medium wins. I had a few big wins but the most I got was about 60 x bet. I expect more from this game in the future because it has a nice potential for a payout.

Sparks is the newest release from the great Netent software family. Netent has lately released many games and unfortunately many of them have poor payouts and in my opinion, Sparks is one them.

This slot has 5 reels and 20 paylines. The only difference that makes this slot more special is the fact that you can play it one way or both ways, it is your choice. My first experience with this slot was at Casumo casino, when they sent me 10 free spins on this game. I was very excited because I wasn't sure what to expect. I chose to play both ways because I though that it would increase my possibilities to hit good combinations. I was so disappointed when the free spins ended and I had won only little over 1€. To see if there's any winning potential in my eyes, I tried this game the next day with a 40€ deposit. That is no surprise that visually this game looks great but I wouldn't expect any less from NetEnt, most of their slots look exceptional. I placed the minimum bets which are 0.20€, chose to play both ways and played 500 spins.

The only feature in this slot are wilds. There are to types of wilds. One is a cold wild that will substitute for all symbols except cloning wilds, and cloning wilds that can come up on 2nd or 4th reel and clone from left to right, can stay were they are, go up or down. In my game play they came up very often and those were the only times I had a big win (well 30 x bet only). I played the 500 spins and my balance went down for 10€. I didn't see higher win than 30 x bet which is not the best result.

Overall design wise this slot is good, but everything else is average. I definitely won't be playing this game much because I don't think there's any big winning potential. The cloning wild is a really interesting feature, but that's not enough.

Another month, another new NetEnt game release. I guess we have got used to it by now and most of us know the drill. Unfortunately we get used to knowing what to expect as well. Lately most new NetEnt games have been extremely disappointing. I find it hard to be able to enjoy them when they swallow up your bankroll without any substantial return.

Is it even possible to win big on these latest releases? In an age where companies get driven by profits, it doesn’t seem NetEnt differs from that perspective. I’m not calling the RTP of these new games into question. I just find it hard to get ahead or even win something decent.

Once again I had many free spins waiting for me on this new slot named Sparks. Not much Sparks in my favor though as most free spins delivered almost nothing. Lots of dead spins and small hits never exceeding more than 15x bet.

Sparks contains 5-reels, 3-rows and 20-paylines and offers the possibility to play both-ways. You’d think the ingredients are there to make this an entertaining and fun game. Take the wilds and some special wilds that can appear on reels 2 and 4 into account, which can duplicate symbols from left to right and up if I understood correctly, you’d think that there would be some good wins out there.

Unfortunately the wilds on reels 2 and 4 don’t end up showing often and when they did for me they never awarded me any decent wins.

As you can guess my journey with free spins at various NetEnt casinos never lasted long. In fact, I made sure to switch off to play another game with any winnings I made with this Sparks after a while. Although I haven’t played more than 1,000 spins on this game, I do know enough and that’s the fact that I won’t be playing this game again.

Luckily I didn't have to invest my own money to experience this game, because this game is truly lame to be it blunt.

This 5 reel 20 pay line video slot, is the latest edition from Netent provider, which is another game with neon themed graphics.

While I was reading about this game, comparing this game to Starburst video slot, well sorry guys, I have been playing Starburst slot very often and the payout from the Sparks and Starburst video slot, it cannot be compared. I would say that Starburst is video slot with medium variance payout game, while Sparks belongs to the group of very low payout game.

Maybe a bit early to get that conclusion, but from all I saw this 2 days and tried this game I didn't trigger nothing big in this newly added game. Sparks game, offers 1 win way and both win way, which I would suggest, never play the one way version slot, just because you wont benefit anything playing that way. While the both win ways, is much better. What I liked about this slot is the Expanding wild or cloning wild, which she only appears, at the second and fourth reel. If the Cloning wild will be triggered on any of this 2 reels or both of them, the good thing is that she is cloning the symbols from left to right side, so that way, giving the player winnings combination.

The highest winning symbols are the wild and the orange Spark, their payout is only X 200 your bet, but only if you trigger 5 of them on any active pay line. As I mentioned above, I see this game as a slot, with very low variance of payout, so maybe will be good for wagering bonuses, but still didn't try in that way.

Yesterday, many of casinos, actually even today, they were having promo of this new Netent slot, so giving free spins to their players. I tried Sparks slot, but with only 10 spins you cant see anything, so that way I made 2 small deposits so I could try Sparks a bit longer. I have to say, that I am not impressed with this game, just because it isn't what I expected. Starburst doesn't offer free spins either, just like Sparks, but still will stick to my old friend Starburst!
