PokerStars Casino - Not allowed to withdraw funds

I signed up on Pokerstars 2 months ago. At a point I was asked to go through the verification process. I submitted all the documents requested but my account was never verified and was subsequently blocked. I contacted Pokerstars multiple times (more than 3) either via email or through their contact form to find out what the issue was. I never received a reply. Since I cannot use the platform anymore, I decided to withdraw my funds but this is not possible either. I keep getting the following message: "Your account has been temporarily restricted pending a routine security investigation. We apologize for this delay. These checks are usually completed within minutes, after which time your account will either be re-opened with full functionality, or you will receive an email explaining required next steps. Should you wish to contact us, please head to our dedicated Help Center where you will find answers to most questions and ways to contact us."
It has been many days (tried contacting poker stars about this issue too but, once again, no reply) and I do not know how to handle this. Pokerstars: let me withdraw my funds and shut down my account.
