Mr Green Casino - Mr Green 5360 euro locked after KYC no reply from ID or Complaints team
Hello AskGamblers Team,

I am submitting this complaint regarding my Mr Green account, which currently has €5,360 locked due to a pending address verification.

On October 16, I emailed [email protected]
with a full explanation and attached all required verification documents (photo ID, selfie with ID, and proof of address). In that email, I clarified that I had mistakenly entered my father’s address during registration, but my official registered address is my mother’s residence, and I attached proof confirming this.

The same day I received an automated reply from Mr Green, confirming receipt of my message and stating that I would get a response within 72 hours. However, no one ever contacted me.

After 10 days with no reply, I sent a reminder email on October 26 to the same address.
Then, on October 27, I also contacted [email protected]
to escalate the matter — still without any response.

As of today, more than three weeks have passed, and my account remains restricted despite me having provided all required KYC documents and explanations.

I have also reviewed other complaints from customers on AskGamblers, and it’s clear that this is not the first time Mr Green has failed to respond to verification or payment-related issues within a reasonable timeframe.

Requested resolution:

Complete my KYC verification.

Unlock my account.

Release my balance of €5,360 immediately.

All documents and correspondence are attached below as evidence.

Mr Green Casino - Casino not helping and delaying my verification

I honestly don’t know what else to do at this point. I played at this casino on August 1st, and I won using my own money (no bonus or anything). After that, I uploaded my documents for verification, identity, and proof of address.

Then the nightmare started.

My proof of address was rejected. Support told me I need to upload a bank statement showing transactions, so I did that. It got rejected again.

Then I uploaded a statement from my Irish bank. That also got rejected. When I asked them why, they said it’s either cropped or not fully visible, which honestly makes no sense because it’s completely clear and readable. I’ll attach it here so you can see it too.

After that, they told me to upload a utility bill, which I don’t have because none are in my name. I explained that to them, but they just keep rejecting my documents without giving me any proper explanation. I’ve asked several times for them to tell me exactly what’s wrong or what I should upload instead, but I just get ignored or the same generic replies.

I even sent them a warning email 6 days ago, asking for proper help, or I’d have to escalate things; no reply to that either.

It’s been weeks now, and I’m still stuck. I feel like I’m just going in circles with no one actually looking into my case. I’m really tired of this. I just want to get verified and access my money. I’ve done everything they asked, and every time I try to follow their instructions, they change something or reject it again.

This shouldn’t be this hard.

Mr Green casino is an amazing casino for me! I was previously on 888 casino which was decent but when I made an account with Mr Green my online gambling experience was taken to a complete different level! first of all my favorite withdrawal method to use it Paypal and on MrGreen the Paypal withdrawal time is literally instant but with 888 Casino it took about 24 hours to be processed. I am very pleased with this.
Also I really like that way I can deposit money into my account with Paypal without even having to put my Paypal details in everytime and log in! its much easier. Another thing about 888 Casino is the minimum bets on most live games like roulette was £0.50 but I'm a low roller and I really appreciate being able to place £0.10 bets on Mr Green which I can do!

Registration was easy accept for a glitch in accepting the code sent to my mobile phone. A good selection of slots that display well on a mobile device. I thought the exclusive slots were good.

I made it clear from the start in " my account" no bonuses etc. I deposited £10 via PayPal and played. The next day I deposited another £10 with no problem. But the next day I deposited £30 and my deposit was added to my account WITHOUT me even entering PayPal log in. I contacted live chat Dan who was the least helpful asking me questions that were not relevant to my question. I closed the chat. Today I contacted PayPal and they told me that some casinos will automatically add funds WITHOUT you logging into PayPal. This they agreed with me was very bad practice, so with their advice and of course my agreeance I have blocked Mr Green from taking money from my account. I do not want to be associated with a casino who operates in this manner, so I have closed my account on self exclusion for 5 years.

Honestly, there is nothing to like with this casino. I have long thought about remembering something positive about this casino, but unfortunately nothing.

I strongly take a distance from Mr Green methods in keeping customers' deposits as well as wins as hostages. Mr Green uses suspicious methods and do everything possible to delay your payment. It does not fit what Mr Green wrote further up about KYC procedure and withdrawals verification deadlines: '' we do aim to approve these within 72 hours, however when verification is needed this can take slightly longer than we need to receive the documents first are verified by our verification team. ''

All this is just public relations in here to trick you into using their casino. Don't fall into their trap. If you need help from their support, be aware that you will get helped by inexperienced young teens down to 18/19 years old! Their support uses the copy + paste method. Over the phone Mr Green support laughs at their customers, constantly interrupts the customer, hangs up the phone call without any notice and they try to win a discussion with a customer than building a relationship.

All in all, if you are interested in getting a ''mafia'' treatment from a casino, get cheated and risk your money: use Mr Green.

Mr Green has been around for quite a while and their site is great from a user experience perspective. They have most of the games out there and it was easy for me to create an account and play.

Sometimes the site becomes too complicated for me. It looks like someone there stopped thinking of the player and are doing things from their perspective. Maybe I'm a simple guy but I want to create an account, deposit, play and withdraw. On Mr Green, I'm bombarded with suggestion about what should I play, what tab I should see, what offer I should take, ... just let me play and stop bothering me please.

I like nothing about this company especially after reading so many other similar scenarios. It's a disgrace that this company is getting away with holding people money hostage. Yet are okay to take it in seconds.

I deposited 580 and lost, I then deposited £1000 and as soon as I did my account was blocked. I had no chance to play it. I had a self exclusion with a sister company. There's no way to contact the relevant department (must be locked at area 51. Customer service are useless... Absolute joke! I'm not will to waiting around months like everybody else and am about to start a small claims request with the courts.

I have been waiting for a withdraw of 900 sek for 3 weeks. They have asked for a hurray of documents including picture with my face and id card, bank account statement and so on. I have been very cooperative but they are stalling the sh*t out of it. The live chat only says "thanks for your patience" its like a robot who is saying the same phrase over and over again.

Asked a question in live chat last week about how to pause account or self exclude with open bets. Live chat could not answer so I said it is not important to me. Was told to email if I wanted an answer to my question. Fine. Yesterday in live chat I asked if my account was in good standing because I have large bets pending and I might win big. I wanted to make a possible withdrawal easy. They did not give me much of an answer.

This morning I was informed my account was closed, and they asked for how long I wanted to close it. I never said to close my account, nor do I want to. As said, I have bets pending, and intend to bet more.

Replied instantly and clarified I did not want my account closed. No answer. Went to live chat. No help. Called support phone, he said they were working on opening my account and it would take an hour maximum. Sent more e-mails. Can not access live chat. No replies. I have always been happy with MrGreen, and I know I should be patient but it is hard when MrGreen is giving me zero reassurance and zero information.
