Interview With Rashad Karimov, Business Development Manager at Endorphina

We try to be as impartial as possible, but some software providers are naturally closer to our heart than others; be it for the longevity of cooperation, or the innovation that thrills us, some studios are simply a delight to work with.

One of them is Endorphina, the innovative Malta-based game studio that has for years kept its position at the very helm of online casino games development.

We checked in on them to see what they're up to and had a chance to talk to Rashad Karimov, Endorphina's Business Development Manager. Read our full interview with Rashad below.

AG: First of all, thank you for taking the time to sit down with AskGamblers for a conversation. We appreciate the opportunity to hear from you and share your insights with our players.

As always, it’s a pleasure to sit and talk with AskGamblers and share amazing updates. For our readers, here is a brief info about myself: I am the Regional Business Development Manager of Endorphina and have almost four years in the company working with various markets and partners.

AG: When we look at the past period, it seems like a constant stream of good news from Endorphina, one partnership after another, NetBet, Lottomatica, and Goldbet in Italy, Betano in Mexico, 777 in Switzerland, to name a few, as well as entries into fresh markets, like Denmark, Sweden, or South Africa. Is it hard to adapt to new markets while constantly expanding your reach?

It would be much harder if we did not have a brilliant and talented team, know-how of markets, and, of course, much-loved slot games. But as we have all the aforementioned points, it eases the process very much.

Overall, we always keep a personalised approach for markets we enter, quickly adapting to requirements and trends and focusing directly on players to understand what players want and to be able to give maximum joy and entertainment while expanding our reach to new markets and keep a personalised approach.

AG: We mentioned Denmark, so let’s take it as an example: how do you achieve visibility of and position your content there? In Brazil, which is a huge market, for instance, Endorphina creates content that’s influenced by the local culture. But how do you do it in smaller markets with the resources you have, knowing that no market is negligible?

I think I can share one of our secrets of success - none of the markets we present is neglectable. This applies to our partners as well. In other words, we are always ready to collaborate with our partners in any market to bring maximum entertainment to our players.

Of course, we always take into account differences in culture, mentality, and trends based on markets and create and promote games accordingly. At the end of the day, we have the same goal for both small and big markets - to be visible as much as possible and be liked and loved by players.

AG: Tell us, what is more important, constantly expanding or taking the time to consolidate your presence in one market and then moving on to the next one?

This is a very good and essential question. Over the years, we grew and kept growing so much that we have enough capacity to do both simultaneously.

From the top of my head, I can say that our colleagues speak more than 30 different languages and are of over 20 different nationalities, which helps us greatly to have direct, local, prompt communication and collaboration with our partners. On top of that, we have a legendary commercial compliance team that helps us enter new markets promptly.

AG: Finally, what’s the next big thing for Endorphina? What is your biggest focus for the coming period? Is it products - breaking new grounds like you did with Joker Ra last year - expanding into new jurisdictions, the combination of the two, or something entirely different?

Of course, we do have many hidden rabbits in our hats. We can reveal some of them now; for others, we must wait some more. Currently, we are successfully establishing our presence in the social casino vertical where we have a unique approach while opening doors to new markets, starting partnerships with market leader brands, and bringing juicy, creative, joyful new slot games to our players.
