I am submitting a complaint against Lemon Casino (https­://­lem­onc­asi­no1­1.io) regarding confiscation of my funds and permanent account suspension.

Due to technical issues with my own payment card, I made several deposits from my husband’s bank account. All deposits were fully accepted and processed by the casino without any warnings or restrictions.

I was allowed to play normally, and as a result I won 399 PLN.

After requesting a withdrawal, Lemon Casino:blocked my account, confiscated both my deposits and winnings, explicitly stated that their decision is final and they will not respond to further communication.

The operator accepted the deposits but later used them as a reason to deny withdrawal. I consider this unfair and selective enforcement of their Terms and Conditions, and it violates basic principles of fair gaming.

I request that Lemon Casino either:

Pays my legitimate winnings (399 PLN), or Refunds all accepted deposits.

I can provide all supporting documentation, including:

Email from Lemon Casino confirming account suspension and confiscation,

Screenshots of blocked account,

Proof of deposits from my husband’s bank account,

History of unanswered emails to Lemon Casino.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention.
We would like to clarify the situation and address the concerns raised in this complaint.

At the time deposits are made, payment transactions are processed automatically by certified payment providers. At this stage, the casino does not perform ownership verification of the payment method, and deposits may be technically accepted to allow gameplay. This is standard practice across licensed online casinos and it does not replace or override the mandatory ownership and withdrawal verification requirements.

These mandatory verification procedures are clearly described in our Terms & Conditions and accepted by every player during registration. These rules explicitly require that:

- The player is the sole owner of the payment method used to deposit and withdraw funds.
- Deposits and withdrawals must be made only from/to accounts or cards registered in the player’s own name.

When the withdrawal request was initiated, our team followed standard compliance procedures and requested verification of the newly used payment method (January 9th). During this process, it was confirmed that the deposits were made using a bank card belonging to a third party (the player’s husband), which constitutes a direct violation of our Terms and Conditions, specifically:

Section 15.9 – Deposits:
“The user guarantees that, for the purpose of making deposits to the Player Account, they use only a credit card, bank account or any other payment method of which they are the rightful owner.”

This requirement is not unique to Lemon Casino. It is a fundamental rule applied across all licensed casinos and exists to ensure player security, prevent financial abuse, and comply with anti-fraud regulations.

As a result of this verified breach, the account was suspended in accordance with the Terms, and the related funds were confiscated.

This decision was taken only after the withdrawal request triggered the mandatory verification process and was communicated to the Player accordingly.

We understand that this situation may be disappointing, but the enforcement of these rules is essential to maintaining a safe and fair gaming environment for all players.

I do not dispute that the Terms & Conditions require the payment method to belong to the account holder. However, the key issue in this case is not the existence of this rule, but the way it was applied.

Lemon Casino accepted all deposits without any warning, restriction, or verification, allowed me to play freely, and only invoked this rule after a withdrawal request was submitted.

If the casino considers third-party deposits to be a serious violation, these deposits should have been rejected at the time they were made, not accepted and used to generate revenue for the operator.

The casino states that ownership checks are performed only at the withdrawal stage. This approach places all risk solely on the player while allowing the casino to benefit from deposits that later become “invalid” only when a player wins.

I did not attempt to hide the payment source, commit fraud, or misuse bonuses. The deposits were made openly, from a family member’s account, due to technical issues with my own card.

In my view, confiscation of both deposits and winnings is disproportionate and unfair, especially when the casino suffered no financial loss and did not prevent the deposits in advance.

I respectfully maintain my request that Lemon Casino should either:

pay the legitimate winnings (399 PLN), or

refund all accepted deposits.

I kindly ask AskGamblers moderators to review whether accepting deposits first and confiscating all funds only after a withdrawal request complies with fair gambling principles.

We would like to provide a clear and transparent explanation regarding why the deposited funds were not eligible for a refund, as well as why both the deposit and the winnings were confiscated.
Below, we refer directly to the relevant sections of our Terms & Conditions.

Deposits:

When a deposit is made, the payment is processed automatically. At this initial stage, Lemon Casino does not verify the ownership of the payment method.

However, the acceptance of a deposit does not imply that the payment method is approved for withdrawals. Ownership verification is always carried out during the withdrawal process as part of mandatory identity, payment‑method, and anti‑fraud checks.

This procedure is outlined in our Terms & Conditions, which every player accepts during registration. By accepting the Terms, the player confirms that:

Section 15.8 – Deposits:
“The user guarantees that, for the purpose of making deposits to the Player Account, they use only a credit card, bank account or any other payment method of which they are the rightful owner.”

For this reason, deposits are considered conditionally accepted, pending full compliance verification at the withdrawal stage.
In practice, this means that while deposits are processed automatically, the responsibility for using a correct and compliant payment method lies with the player, as stated in the Terms & Conditions.

Why both the deposit and winnings were confiscated:

We fully understand that such an outcome may be disappointing. However, the Terms & Conditions specify that:

1. The use of a third‑party payment method constitutes a breach of the rules (Section 15.8)

2. In the event of a serious violation, the casino may suspend the account and confiscate all funds:

- Section 09.2:
“Lemon Casino reserves the right to take action to detect and prevent illegal actions of the Players. If Lemon Casino detected or suspected violation of the Regulations by the Player, Lemon Casino reserves the right to suspend the Player's Account and confiscate any funds available on the Player's Account..."

Section 10.2:
“Lemon Casino reserves the right to close the account and confiscate all funds from such account, where Lemon Casino has a reasonable suspicion that the Player has committed or attempted to commit, or participated in potential fraud, or otherwise advised in the commission of fraud by third parties…”

3. Additionally, Terms & Conditions state that funds that have already been wagered cannot be refunded:

-Section 16.13:
"The Player is entitled to a refund of the deposit, in order to do so he/ she must submit an application for refunding the deposited funds within 24 hours after making the deposit. Funds will be refunded using the same method by which deposit was paid, or to a verified bank account if it is not possible to return using the same method. In the event that the Player wagered the funds deposited by participating in the Games available on the Lemon Casino Website, it is not possible to request a refund"


These procedures are not intended to be punitive. They are required to ensure compliance with anti‑fraud, and financial‑security obligations applicable to licensed gaming operators.

While we understand that this outcome may be disappointing, the casino is obligated to apply these rules consistently in order to protect both players and the integrity of the platform.
