If anyone asks me which Isis game I prefer more, I wouldn't be able to give a true to heart answer. Why? Because of conflicting opinions within my head. They say that any game that has a jackpot prize attached to it would play and pay slightly differently than the same game without any jackpot. True or not, I cannot say for sure, I can only assume, but my former boss once told me "never assume...it is dangerous!", so I won't. Mega Moolah Isis has a jackpot attached, this Isis hasn't. Both are identical games, with exactly the same paytable, but each game's configurations may not be the same, in my honest personal opinion. One game has to contribute to the jackpot, the other doesn't, so like it or not, one game configuration has to be modified to accommodate for that contribution to the jackpot. The rest is arguable, without any possible conclusion.
I have played both versions of Isis, having played the Jackpot version first. I have played this non-jackpot version too, but I must admit, not to an extent that I could 'see' or 'feel' the differences between the two games. That would require lots and lots of regular long plays on each game, which I'm not interested in doing at all because they aren't my favourite games. Nevertheless, if I were to spend a lot of my money on this game, I would certainly play the jackpot version, for very obvious reasons. Well, if you are playing to win, and who doesn't, then might as well aim for the biggest win possible, the multi-million dollar Mega Moolah Jackpot Prize.
Having looked into the game's paytable, there is no doubt that this Isis game can stand on its own ground, even without a jackpot prize attached to it. The win values for the symbols are amongst the best, the overall paytable is an excellent one, the win potentials are huge to say the least, and you can hardly find a better Free Spins game that offers 20, 25 or 30 free spins with a 6x multiplier, and with a Wild that doubles all wins, thereby providing wins with a 12x multiplier. 5 Wilds pay 10,000x the line bet, 5 Scatters pay an incredible 600x the total bet and the other lower symbols paying from 2000x to 50x the line bet for 5 of each kind. Now that is breath-taking indeed. Wouldn't you just love to get those wins!
I am so used to complaining about how rare it is to get retriggers of the Free Spins game, but I did get them in both the Isis game versions, albeit only 1 retrigger, but that's not too bad. Better than none at all, which seems to be the case with most other Microgaming games. Don't ask me why, I cannot figure out why Microgaming game designers are making them so hard to get, as compared to games from other providers. Playtech games are still the most generous, and the best, where retriggering of Free Spins games are concerned.
