DISLIKED
Back to this product the slot got lot of very great pictorial elements that makes the game more of a multi-level game than a land-based machine simulation and mainly the all kind of powerful colour tints are the first what can surprise us here. The mixture of colours is very nice and it’s a good job from creators but reducing the reel area helping the design elements to be more effective was not necessarily a good idea. I easily can imagine this interface without big gas tanks, different kind of pipes or other gadgets and equipment and this is especially true for the used symbols where the explosive tanks, firelighter and oil cans are the playing pictograms along with the traditionally employed 7’s and bars. In my opinion these kinds of symbols are not too fitting to each other and overall I’m not a big fan of this interface. Don’t misunderstood me, I like when a company try to be innovative and try out unique things I just think that everything has its own place and time and sometimes there are things which is working perfectly and doesn’t make sense to modify or change it in big way. I believe the classic slot machines is one of that territories and personally I like much better the traditionally illustrated slots which can give me more pleasure even if sometimes they’re no too trendy or has a very fresh interface.
The similarities between a multi-line game than this product is continuing when we’re speak about the game segment as the game offers not just traditional free spin features, win multipliers and even Scatters too and I have mixed feeling about them as I find some of them not fitting to well to a classis slot machine as we simple can’t see that much advantage of them than at a multi game even if they seemingly very promising on the paper. For example 2 Explosive Tanks on the line triggers 7 free spins while 3 visible icons give out 21 extra games during all win are multiplied by x3. From the nature of the feature it just can’t be so powerful or effective here on one payline and that’s why not rare when the free spins are played without bringing back any wins and most of the occasions it’s a not too usable feature.
Of course we can see benefits of the original idea which is mainly manifested in the assigned paying qualities of the winning combinations which are really great for a classic slot. The best we can win by using maximum number of coins is awesome 7500 times of coin value prize and other than that the slot still offers 3 other symbols which in proper combination can reward more than 1000 coins (3000, 2400, 1260) so I can easily say this game has got one of the best potential among the traditional slot machines (except the ones which offers Progressive Jackpots as grand prize) on the market. Oil Can symbol serves the game as Scatter and can provide 2400 coins as best prize if 3 of them land on the payline but if just one such icon appear on any reels it still can return our stake. The Bars are the least rewarding pictograms but I like the possibility to gain some profit if they come to the reels in any kind of mixed format.
All in all, this is a brand new type of modern dressed classic slots and I have lot of issues with them but at the same time they hold more potential than the machines from the past. I think everybody needs to make own decision whether this kind of new wave solutions better or not, gives more enjoyment or not than the old conception of slot machine but personally I prefer the well-known product making scheme and even if it’s obvious that old partners can’t compete the possibilities of the new ones but if they’re working great as some of them doing I appreciate and love them more than the representatives of this new vision. So that’s why Fire Storm 7 is not among my favourites and even though it’s not a bad game at all but for me is no more than an another product on the market which can’t really impress me for whatever reasons.
