888 Casino - Unjustified Account Closure & Funds Withholding
I opened an account with 888 casino and supplied them all the accurate information. They accepted my details and offered me various bonuses i.e free £88 and 100% first deposit match.
I started to play some blackjack and won £40 on my first hand, I then got an onscreen msg stating I had used all the £88 and would be credit with £15. I was ok with this as I had ready the T@C's, I used all the £88 and £15 and won nothing so all of this bonus as gone! No worries!
I then deposited £100 of my own money which 888 then matched, I started playing on goonies slots, an on screen msg stated I was using bonus funds. After some time I used all of this bonus and received an onscreen msg stating I was using my own funds. Around £40 into using my own funds I won £260. I decided to end my session there and withdrew £321.
The next day I received a Email from the "operations team" stating my account had been closed due to me violating bonus rules and my withdrawal has been cancelled. I phoned the customer services up and they could not help as I needed to speak to the operation team.
I emailed the operational team back asking for detail of what rules I have broken as I am at a loss of what I have done. After 3 days of waiting I have received a email back stating they have reasonable suspicion I have been taking advantage of bonuses (how? I didn't win anything from bonuses so what advantage did I have).
They will however open my account if I send a notarised form of ID, this will obviously cost me £60 to get this which I am not willing to do, I have supplied you with 2 copies of my driving license and 1 copy of my passport. I have signed up to many casinos in the past and never had to do this.
Plus if they are saying I have broken the rules why are they willing to reopen my account if I supply them the notarised ID. Surely if I break rules that should be it, account closed!!!!
At the end of all this you are holding £321 that I won with my own money and you are withholding it from me unless I supply you with a notarised id (that I will have to pay for) for reasons that have not been explain or proven to me all you do is state I have broken rules!
