I opened an account with Betfair deposited via skrill and ran up a sizeable balance via the exchange. I went to withdraw my initial deposit via skrill, and the rest to my bank.
My account was closed the next day without any contact or explanation. After contacting them I was told I needed to send my documents to verify it (even of me holding the documents). I sent them the required documents last Monday 19th, since then I haven't heard anything. I contacted them several times to chase them up and I have just been given the run around with excuses like 'not our department' and 'your'e in a queue'. I called them and told that it would be passed to the superviser and would call me back, still I heard nothing.
After 9 days I receive an email back saying they had no documents on file so I sent them again, and uploaded them the next day on the chat to them.
its been 10 days now and It should not take a company this long to verify a few documents I am tired of being given the run around and want access to my funds. They have left me no other option than to come somewhere like this for help.

So after waiting over another 72 hours from sending my documents again, I received this email:

We are sending this e-mail as a kind reminder as we still have not received your documents. We need the below documents that show your ID, address, and the way you pay.
Proof of your ID
• A high quality colour photo of your passport, driving licence, or National ID card showing all 4 corners of the document.
Proof of your address
• A high quality colour photo of a utility bill or a bank statement not more than three months old.
• It needs to show your residential address; PO box numbers won't work.
• Online statements won't work either, sorry.

So I received a reply yesterday, 6 days after sending my documents the second time.
Apparently my documents weren't up to scratch.
My passport was slightly cut out for being too up close when I took the picture and the one of my holding it was slightly blurry.
I have re-taken photographs and sent them accordingly yesterday again, but I'm not expecting any kind of rapid response.
We're almost at 2 and a half weeks since I've first tried to settle the issue and its becoming pretty drawn out now. I respect that it has been the holidays but waiting a week at a time for a reply is frustrating.
