Playamo Casino - Ignorance of Self Exclusion Request
On January 11, I emailed my VIP manager to let her know that I needed to self exclude for 6 months, effective immediately.
See attached for full response but the gist of it was to entice me to stay and change my mind with the promise of cash bonuses or free spins.
Any online casino that I have ever self excluded from has never questioned my request and has always taken the matter seriously. I began receiving email promotions reminding me I had free spins to activate and long story short, over the last week I have since deposited over $800 CAD.
Now, I get it, I really do. I lost that money. You win some, you lose some. I know the risks of gambling... which is why I opted to request self exclusion. I knew I could not resist the temptation and instead of honoring that request, it almost feels as though they have made it even harder to resist.
My issue and reason for requesting refund of funds deposited from January 11th on, is that I know had I won anything "big", I never would have been able to withdraw it because you can see in my user history that I had requested to not participate in any further activity at the casino. That said, had the request to self exclude been dealt with according to the responsible gambling guidelines listed in their terms and conditions, I should not have been able to deposit such money.
I am also attaching a screenshot of my deposit history for the dates and deposits in question. If I can provide any other information that may be helpful in determining whether or not I have just cause for requesting a refund, please let me know.
