What Does “Certified” Mean?

A certified casino holds a current AskGamblers Certificate of Trust, meaning it has passed all nine of our certification standards covering areas such as payouts, complaints, licensing, responsible gambling, AML transparency, security and fair operations.

Certified casinos are also monitored after certification to make sure they continue meeting our standards. The Certificate of Trust is a sign of trustworthiness, not a guarantee that you’ll win. Explore all currently certified casinos above, learn what certification means and how we assess and monitor them in our Certificate of Trust methodology.

💡 AskGamblers tip: Look beyond the badge - recent player reviews can give you a useful snapshot of what other players are experiencing.

How This List Is Maintained

This list isn't static. We review every certified casino regularly after the certification, checking payout performance, complaint outcomes and continued compliance with our standards.

If a casino falls short, we give it up to 60 days to fix the issue before its Certificate of Trust is suspended and it’s removed from this list. Any change in status is also reflected on that casino’s individual AskGamblers review page.

In other words, the badge has to be earned and kept.

Can Online Casinos Be Trusted?

What It Means If a Casino Isn't Certified

Not seeing the Certificate of Trust on a casino doesn’t automatically mean the casino is unsafe or untrustworthy.

It simply means that the casino doesn’t currently hold our certification.

There are several possible reasons for that. It may not have met every certification requirement, it may not have been on AskGamblers for the required six months, or it may simply not have gone through our certification process yet.

So don’t treat the absence of a badge as an automatic red flag.

Instead, check the casino’s AskGamblers review, player feedback, complaints, licence information and terms and conditions before deciding where to play.

FAQ

What does it mean when a casino appears on this list?

It holds the current AskGamblers Certificate of Trust. This means it has passed all nine certification standards and is actively monitored to make sure it continues meeting them.

How often is this list updated?

We review Certified Casinos at least every three months and update this page whenever a casino gains or loses certification.

Can a casino be removed from this list?

Yes. If a Certified Casino stops meeting our standards, we give it up to 60 days to fix the issue, depending on the circumstances. If it doesn’t, we can suspend its Certificate of Trust and remove it from this list.

Why isn't a casino I use on this list?

It doesn’t necessarily mean the casino is unsafe. It may not have applied for certification, may not meet every standard yet, or may not have been on AskGamblers long enough to qualify.

Check the casino’s individual AskGamblers review for more information.

How can I sort or filter the casinos on this list?

Use the filters above to sort by rating, review count, bonus type, licence, payment method, game provider, currency or language.

Where can I read the full certification criteria?

You can find the complete breakdown of our nine certification standards on our Certificate of Trust methodology page.
