Land-based casinos, online casinos, mobile casinos, live casinos… The list goes on and on. Yet, we can still be amazed. Virtual reality is still a thing of wonderment, so the world’s first virtual casino is certainly one, too. Thanks to SlotsMillion Casino’s joint forces with Cash Game Festival and iGaming SuperShow visitors of two separate events 2,000 km apart will be brought together through a virtual reality device. Sounds exciting, right? It’s because it is.
About the VR Meetup
Location one: Amsterdam. Location two: Malta. The first show by the name of iGaming Supershow will be taking place from the 7th of June to the 10th of June, 2016 in the Netherlands. The second show named the Cash Game Festival will be held in San Giljan, Malta from the 8th of June to the 12th of June, 2016. The connection between the two? The world’s first ever real-money multiplayer virtual casino.
Visitors of two separate shows in Malta and Amsterdam will be visiting the world’s first virtual reality casino via Oculus Rift headsets.
Namely, even though the two locations are 2,000 km apart, visitors of both shows will be able to visit the futuristic casino together with a little help from Oculus Rift headsets. Once the headsets are on, players from both ends will be watching Twitch footage from Cash Game Festival on a big screen.
How the Virtual Reality Tour Works
Players choose their avatar and enter a 22-floor skyscraper, heading for the SlotsMillion Casino lobby where they can enjoy 40 of today’s most popular classic, progressive, 3D and video slots. Some of the world’s most played online games, such as the Wild Chase slot, Immortal Romance slot, Basic Instinct slot, Gonzo’s Quest slot and Starburst slot, are all already in the virtual casino. Plus, they can be played for real money!
Virtual Reality Is the Future
As Alexandre Tomic, CEO of SlotsMillion Casino, said: “Virtual reality is still in its infancy but it is clear that it has the potential to fundamentally change everyday life, more than any technology has ever managed before.”
VR has the potential to change everyday life and even allow people to be in two places at the same time.
He proceeded to explain that VR is “used to create beautiful, vivid encounters that are more colourful and life-like than real life. It has the power to transport us to another world and—as we are demonstrating at the Cash Game Festival and iGaming SuperShow—be in two places at once.”
