The annual EGR B2B Awards were held in London just a few days ago which recognises the work carried out by the gaming providers we know and love at our favourite online casinos. The night was celebrated across the industry, let’s have a look at where some of the well-deserved awards were handed out.
Another successful year all round
does it again, taking home three prizes and confirming its place at the cutting edge of slot development. The company that just keeps going from strength to strength and were nominated in an incredible nine different categories proving that hard work really does pay off.
The night went off with a bang and NetEnt once again walked away victorious
The digital gaming company ended the night on a high winning ‘Innovation in slot provision’, ‘RNG Casino Supplier’ and the ‘Innovation in Mobile’ award. Per Eriksson who is the CEO at NetEnt commented “Every year NetEnt aims to go even better than the last, designing better games with even more innovative features, and ensuring we stay at the leading edge of the industry. It’s fantastic to receive outside recognition that all our hard work is paying off.”
And the other awards go to…
The NYX Gaming Group also celebrated a successful year after they walked away with multiple awards including the very prestigious Platform of the Year award. OpenBet, who were acquired by NYX also won the Sports Betting Supplier for the seventh consecutive year!

The competitive category
In what was a very competitive category, the Slot Provider of the Year, Yggdrasil triumphed over nine other nominees taking home the highly regarded award. The award acknowledges the firms market-leading portfolio of video slots.
Variety, quality and consistent excellence is what impressed the judges the most
Last year the company won the Software Rising Star award so it was no surprise they’d top that this year with this industry recognised award. Fredrik Elmqvist, the CEO at Yggdrasil commented “Winning Software Rising Star at last year’s EGR B2B Awards was absolutely fantastic and we could only dream that a year on we would be voted Slot Provider of the Year.
