The 100 startups will be handpicked by SiGMA themselves and will then be given a free stand where they can showcase their products. They will only be separate depending on whether they fall under one category or the other.
Suitable for New Businesses
The initiative is specifically aimed at new companies and entrepreneurs to help them gain attention and important investment. This is not suitable for companies that are already established who are launching new products or divisions.
Those likely to be picked are startups who are at the prototype stage as opposed to those who have already gained investment or significant media and are not at the initial concept stage.
Picking the 100 free companies is a panel of experienced judges. One well-deserved start up project will also receive a prize pool that consists of free office space, PR services, Digital Marketing Services and a much-needed training solution to give them more chances of success.
Eman Pulis, Founder of SiGMA Group said "Being a startup romantic myself, this competition is something I hold dear to my heart.”
He also added "There is no catch - it's meritocracy at its finest; survival of the fittest - and the person who comes out on top will enjoy the opportunity of having a golden ticket into a blooming ecosystem."
