Our Very Own Catena Media Wins Casino Affilate of the Year at the SBC Awards

The winners of the SBC Awards are in and you will never believe who has just won Casino Affiliate of the Year! Yep, our very own Catena Media were crowned with the victory in a lavish ceremony that took place on the 3rd of December, in London. Online casinos, suppliers and any affiliates in the iGaming industry were recognised for their excellence and we’re going to share some of the winners with you today. 

Catena Media Wins!

The annual SBC Awards have taken place in London where the likes of Bet365 Casino and LeoVegas Casino collected big prizes. In fact, the ceremony seen a record number of 34 companies and five industry leaders being awarded but it was our own Catena Media who stole the limelight. 

The event, which was hosted by Kirsty Gallacher and Ruud Gullit at Battersea Evolution brought together over 700 industry professionals. The awards celebrate the achievements of the best-performing and most innovative operators, suppliers and affiliates. 

Our very own Catena Media wins Casino Affiliate of the Year at the annual SBC Awards.

Catena Media who were nominated in both the Sports Affiliate of the Year category and the Casino Affiliate of the Year category, ended the night in triumph. They walked away with their heads held high holding the Casino Affiliate of the Year Award. Well done guys!

A Record Number of Winners

There were plenty of other worthy winners too. Bet365 were named Sportsbook of the Year making it their sixth consecutive year which is some record to beat. They also picked up the Football Sports Book of the Year and Best Affiliate program honours. They were also highly commended in the Racing Sportsbook Category but Wiliam Hill managed to just pip them to the post. 

While LeoVegas went down very well in the casino categories. The Swedish giants were voted with the much-wanted Casino Operator of the Year and also won the Innovation in Casino Entertainment prize too. 

Other companies that took home multiple victories included Betrader and Trustly. While other awards were handed out as follows:

  • Betsson Group: Social Responsible Sportsbook of the Year
  • Kindred Group: Socially Responsible Casino 
  • Sky Betting & Gaming: Employer of the Year
  • Rising Star prizes went to Stoiximan / Betano Group (Sports Betting), PlayOJO (Casino), Shape Games (Sports Betting Innovation) and BetGames.TV (Casino Innovation)
  • Better Collective: Sports Affiliate of the Year
  • Best Affiliate Product Innovation: 1XBet
  • Esports Operator of the Year: Betway
  • Casino Game Developer of the Year: NetEnt
  • Innovation in Casino Entertainment: Evolution Gaming 

And there were loads of other winners too! Congratulations to everyone. Andrew McCarron who is the Managing Director at SBC also said : “Congratulations to all the winners selected by our voters and judging panels. We had a record number of entries this year and the quality of them was hugely impressive, so the victors had to be truly exceptional to stand out from the other contenders.”
