The most respected information provider for the igaming affiliate market, iGB Affiliate, has hailed this year’s London Affiliate Conference a huge success following its move to the ExCeL. The London Affiliate Conference 2017 took place on the 9th - 12th February 2017 and this year saw the return of some exciting features, including the iGB Affiliate Awards and the Financial Partners Expo.
A Well Received Move to Excel
There was a record-breaking number of 5,062 delegates who attended the 4-day event in London, including 2,989 affiliates and 1,512 exhibitors. This signifies an 11% growth year on year and is a strong indicator that the move to ExCeL was well received.
“LAC organisers are delighted with the record-breaking number of attendees after moving the event to the ExCeL.”
LAC organisers are delighted with the record-breaking turnout, after moving the venue to the ExCeL. The move to the larger space enabled both new and existing exhibitors to dramatically increase the size of their stands, while also allowing organisers to invest in new feature areas and the delegate experience. The change also proved convenient for attendees of ICE Totally Gaming 2017, which ended the same day that LAC began.
iGaming Business Satisfied with LAC
iGaming Business’ head of operations Shona ODonnell commented: “LAC this year was an incredible reflection of the growth and innovation our industry has seen in the past 12 months. Feedback from clients and delegates on the move to ExCeL was astoundingly positive across the board.
“For the affiliate industry, LAC is the must attend event.”
As always with a new space, we had a few teething problems, but we are already working on eliminating these for 2018. Now, more than ever, LAC is the must attend event for the affiliate industry and I am extremely proud of what we have delivered.”
New Focus - Nordic Affiliate Conference
As the new event will be held in Stockholm next month, all attention now shifts to the inaugural Nordic Affiliate Conference. NAC is expected to be very different from the larger exhibitions iGB Affiliate host in London, Amsterdam and Berlin. The conference will be hosted as a lounge-style event, which will allow delegates to network in a more intimate and fluid way.
“The Nordic region is an incredibly important market in igaming, and a dedicated affiliate event in the region is long overdue. We really look forward to supporting the event and meeting with our affiliate and acquisition partners there” – said Michael Golembo, EGO.
