In our latest interview with Irina Rusimova, Business Development Manager of EGT Interactive, we had an excellent opportunity to learn all about the company’s latest news, most recent and future plans, as well as what it takes to be successful in a highly competitive world of iGaming.
1. The fruit theme is often present in your video slots, even in the most recent launches. Is that the secret to your success?
Our portfolio is definitely concentrating on the traditional casino theme, offering real casino experience to our players. Our casino slots are designed with the real players’ preferences in mind – classical and at the same time simple and easy to follow themes and paytables, great payouts, attractive RTP. There is not just a single, major secret to the success, rather than that, it is combination of many factors such as long – term presence in the market, proven mathematics and then there are all smaller factors that also contribute to the popularization of the portfolio – great graphics and interface, fast and impeccable performance, great marketing strategy.

Our statistics shows that 40 Super Hot is really one of the top performing titles in various markets. Of course, we have a few more top propositions like Amazons’ Battle, Zodiac Wheel, 10 Burning Heart and many more.
3. What does the process of games creation include and how long it usually lasts?
One of the greatest advantages, which is also a distinctive feature of our company, is the synergy between the online and the land-based divisions of EGT. The games are originally designed by EGT and then EGT Interactive is making them available to the online. Thus, we are being able to offer the same portfolio of games to both – online and land-based operations which additionally rises the popularity and visibility in the markets where both divisions are present.
4. Since you’ve been working in the gambling industry for a long time, what is your take on the transition from the land based to the online casinos?
Online gaming is a fast - growing industry. In the current busy everyday life, people prefer to be free from any constraints, trying to do everything on the go. Mobile players have the freedom to play anytime and anywhere and some of them probably prefer the privacy of the online network. Moving along with the trend, we also make sure that we provide all our games for Desktop as well as for Mobile. We are one of not so many providers that can actually offer both solutions to their operators, thus closing a circle for their players who can play the same portfolio of games in the land-based casinos as well as in their online casinos.
5. How hard is it to be successful in the online gambling world nowadays?
With the development of the contemporary technology and the growth of the online gambling it is natural to face growing competition. For companies with established traditions, experience and knowledge of the business – it is easy to stand up and stay ahead from the competition. Another very important principle is to find your target market and stay true to your principles and policies. Finding your competitive advantage is what makes you unique and preffered choice from number of providers.
6. So far, your games have been available across numerous online casinos including Bitstarz Casino, SlotsMillion Casino, Jetspin Casino and other casino operators. What is EGT Interactive’s main market and are you planning to start new partnerships with more casinos?
Historically, our longest presence has been in the eastern part of Europe - Bulgaria, Romania, Croatia, Serbia etc. - these are the closest markets to us not only in terms of distance, but also mentality of the players. At the same time, we see great results from markets such as Spain, Portugal, Lithuania LATAM, Georgia. We give this to the classical vision of our portfolio which is always the preferred choice of the casino players. It is easy to understand, simple and at the same time we always strive to pay attention even to the finest detail. Now we are headed to a great expansion, entering numerous new markets such as Denmark, Sweden, Switzerland in the next months. We already see great interest from existing and potential partners for these markets and expecting to launch new projects with some of the biggest players in the markets expecting great results in the near future.
7. What are your plans for the last quarter of 2018? Can you reveal some of the things EGT Interactive will be working on until the end of 2018?
As revealed above - we have already started with the number of certification procedures for new markets. We are on the path of great growth and entering new regulated markets is one of the main points of our development strategy. At the same time we continue our presence in variuos exhibitions all over the world with the closest ones being G2E and SIGMA – they are important events where we can not only take a stand, but also meet with potential and new partners and showcase the latest titles from our portfolio. We also continue with the expansion of the portfolio of slots, introducing some new exciting features that will be revealed later this year.
8. What do you think of a third-party casino portal such as AskGamblers?
It is a great portal for players looking for trustworthy and unbiased information on the casino providers and their favourite online casinos.
