Habanero strikes a Ghana deal with Betway

Habanero Tightens Its Position in Africa Through a Betway Deal in Ghana

Habanero recently signed an agreement that will see the company strengthen its position in the African market further, by partnering up with Betway to deliver its content to players in Ghana for the first time.

Habanero's Ghana Debut

According to the new deal between Habanero and Betway, the vendor’s suite of releases will soon be available to Betway’s players via the Betway Africa operation. Smash-hit titles like Hot Hot Fruit Slot, Wild Trucks Slot, and Egyptian Dreams Slot, will soon be at the disposal of Ghanaian players.

Betway Africa is the operator’s offshoot focused on gaming and sports betting in Africa. Thus far, the operator has launched the service in several regulated African markets, such as Uganda, South Africa, and Kenya.

Habanero hailed the deal with Betway as a significant milestone for the vendor and its expansion in the region, saying that the partnership with Betway in Africa will prove to be a decisive step forward in its continued growth across the regulated landscape of the continent.

Currently, the online gaming market in Ghana, which opened in 2006, is second only to Nigeria in terms of annual revenue and number of players.

A Decisive Move Forward

Speaking about the Betway deal, Arcangelo Lonoce, head of business development Europe at Habanero said that it marks “a decisive move forward in our penetration of Africa’s regulated landscape, and we see the highly dynamic African market as a truly promising area for Habanero to continue to grow in.

Now live in Ghana, we can’t wait to start introducing our games to more and more players there than ever before,” Lonoce pointed out.

Meanwhile, at Betway Ghana, Head of Marketing Kwabena Oppong-Nkrumah, noted that the operator “has always considered Africa as a distinctive market, one where we can grow exponentially.

Thanks to the latest deal with Habanero, we can now strengthen our leading position with the studio’s hugely exciting titles,” Oppong-Nkrumah added.
