In case you haven’t already noticed, Catena Media have had a fantastic year so far and things are only getting better, as they are nominated for an SBC Award. This year is said to be the most competitive year the SBC Awards have ever had and with no fewer than 11 categories, the judges have certainly got a decision on their hands.
Catena Media Receive a Nomination
They are now in their sixth year and the SBC Awards recognise the achievements of online casinos, suppliers and affiliates all around the globe. This year it will be a seated event with tables and the shortlists have already been decided.
But, it is not going to be an easy task picking the winners this year. And our very own Catena Media are also in the running to receive an award of their own. Alongside Better Collective, and the Gambling.com Group, Catena Media head the hotly-contested affiliate section of the awards for Casino Affiliate of the Year and Sports Affiliate of the Year.
Catena Media are nominated in the sixth SBC Awards, said to be the most competitive yet.
In total, there will actually be 41 different categories and the winners will be announced in a lavish event taking place in the stunning Battersea Evolution in London. The ceremony, which will be attended by over 700 professionals will take place on the 3rd of December.
Everyone Wants to Win
Receiving such a nomination is an honour and of course everyone is in it to win it. Among the awards is the Betsson Group who will be hoping to walk away with Sportsbook of the Year. But, they’re not just going to take it lying down.
But the Swedish gaming giants aren’t just attending in the hope to win one award! They want more. They are also up for nomination in the leading casino category but have tough competition like Campeonbet, Karamba, Videoslots, PlayOJO, The Stars Group, GVC and LeoVegas Mobile Gaming Group. Each online casino will be hopeful to walk away with the much-wanted Operator of the Year title.
And finally, Betconstruct will also feature heavily in the supplier categories, receiving a whopping 9 nominations alongside Playtech, Scientific Games, Trustly, Optima, Golden Race, Betradar, Vermantia, EveryMatrix, OKTO and HiPay also appearing on multiple shortlists. It is surely set to be a night to remember. Good luck to everyone and especially Catena Media, we are rooting for you.
A Record Number of Nominations
Andrew McCarron who is the Managing Director at SBC said “We received a record number of entries for this year’s SBC Awards, with operators, suppliers and affiliates from around the world keen to achieve recognition for their hard work and innovation. Most importantly, the standard of the entries is superb, so we have twice the number of nominations and a tenfold increase in quality.”
He also went on to add “I can’t wait to see which companies emerge as winners at the SBC Awards ceremony, which is always one of the most enjoyable events of the year.”
