In its periodic analysis of the online gambling market trends, BGaming came to a number of conclusions regarding mobile gaming, young people’s involvement in iGaming and shared its insights into the state of play of cryptocurrencies in online gambling.
Mobile Leads the Way
Unsurprisingly, the slot provider found that mobile gaming has in the previous period left far behind any other form in which people choose to engage in iGaming.
Mobile left behind all other forms of gaming by a long shot, with almost 95% of punters choosing portable devices to play.
According to the provider, nearly 95% of players opting for BGaming slots chose to play their favourite games on their mobile devices, leaving PCs and tablets behind at nearly 3% and 2%, respectively.
Young Adults Increasingly Interested in iGaming
BGaming also found that the share of young adults in iGaming is on the rise. According to data from BGaming, the number of young adults went up by almost 6% over the past 12 months.
“When composing the road map of our games, we always rely on the analytics that our team collects,” Marina Ostrovtsova, Executive Director at BGaming commented on the data.
“Of course, we strive to meet the needs of different generations, but it is important to be flexible and notice any changes in the market on time,” Ostrovtsova pointed out.
Crypto Takes the Cake
One of the conclusions drawn from the analysis is that the past year has seen an explosion of cryptocurrency across the BGaming's casino network, with a surge observed in a number of major cryptocurrencies.
Bitcoin remained the most popular form of crypto, closely followed by Litecoin. This crypto has seen the most substantial rise in popularity in the third quarter of the year, jumping 49%, followed by an expansion of Tether, with the BGaming team measuring a 108% increase in the use of Tether across the provider’s titles.
A surge in crypto continued in Q3, with Litecoin and Tether accounting for the biggest increase.
“Being the world’s first iGaming provider to offer cryptocurrencies, we draw particular attention to crypto gambling,” Bogdan Gres, Brand Team Lead at BGaming, said.
“BGaming widens its network of crypto projects, and we see the results. The number of explosive winnings on crypto projects has significantly risen over the past few months,” Gres stressed.
Aloha King Elvis the Fastest-Growing BGaming Slot
Even though released in Q3, the sequel to the immensely popular Elvis Frog in Vegas Slot, Aloha King Elvis Slot has managed to catch up with titles released earlier, becoming the fastest-growing among BGaming titles.
“We wanted to continue the story of cue Elvis which has already become a symbol of BGaming,” said Gres.
“The game met our expectations. Moreover, new features such as Buy Bonus and Chance 2.5 added in October also stimulated popularity growth,” concluded Gres.
