The International Gaming Awards 2018 are done and dusted for another year in a recent awards ceremony held on London on the eve of ICE. Suppliers across the industry found in your favourite online casinos were awarded for recognition and hard work and it was certainly a night to remember.
Yggdrasil take Innovator of the Year
It’s the prestigious award ceremony where anyone who’s anyone attends as some of the biggest and newest names in the industry meet for one special night. And this year the must sought after Innovator Supplier of the Year award was won by Yggdrasil Gaming!
They were named the winners by a panel of experts and judges drawn across the country and they’ve racking up quite a history of these awards now.
Yggdrasil Gaming named Innovative Supplier of the Year 2018 at the International Gaming Awards.
They’ve already bagged the same award in previous years along with the Gaming Software Supplier of the year too! Fredrik Elmqvist who is the CEO over at Yggdrasil commented “We always strive to be the best, and it’s always an honour to be recognised by our industry peers.”
Mobile Product Goes too…
When it came to the Mobile Product award it was Microgaming’s turn to take the crown who developed the first ever mobile casino software back in 2004. They’ve remained at the forefront on the industry ever since and are worthy winners of the award.
Microgaming are crowned with the Mobile Product 2018 award.
And let’s not forget it’s Microgaming who still holds the record for the largest evert jackpot one from a mobile device standing at a whopping €7,968,311.26! Roger Raatgever the CEO at Microgaming commented “We are very proud to win the award for Mobile Product. We predicted that mobile gaming would be the future back in 2004 and we haven’t looked back”.
Slot Provider of the Year
And finally, if you had to guess who would you pick for Slot Provider of the Year? We’re not surprised at all that the crown this year was taken by Play’n GO after a truly phenomenal year they’ve had! The online slots specialists has taken the award for the second year in a row in what is one of the most competitive awards of the night.
Judges were impressed by the suppliers consistently strong output of innovative games with vibrant graphics and unique features. Johan Tornqvist the CEO at Play’n GO said “This is the perfect start for what we expect to be a very constructive week at ICE. Producing quality slots is what we're known for, and although we've greatly expanded our product range of late, this will remain a key priority for us for the foreseeable future.”
