The industry's most popular progressive jackpot slot strikes again. And, if you don’t already know which game we’re talking about, let us explain. Microgaming’s record-breaking Mega Moolah slot. Other games try to live up to its same reputation but it undoubtedly remains one of the wealthiest online slots in history.
Microgaming's most sought after progressive jackpot has paid out another multi million pound jackpot.
Its latest millionaire was a lucky player at Optibet Casino whose bank account now looks €7.2m better off!
Mega Moolah Does it Again
The jackpot struck at Enlabs-owned Optibet Casino for the second time in as many months. The prize was an almighty one as the lucky punter walked away with a life-changing €7,231,507.69 when the largest jackpot in the game triggered on the 6th August. This followed the game's previous payout of €6.5m in June.
Microgaming pays all of their progressive jackpot wins in one lump sum so when someone wins it, they really win it. This means the game's latest winner is an instant millionaire and is the 101st millionaire on the network to date. Back in April the game paid out a record-breaking €19.4 which is going to be a pretty hard one to top.
A Fantastic Network of Games
Microgaming’s progressive jackpot network has now paid out a staggering €1.45 billion to date with over €137 million awarded across all jackpots, tiers and games so far in 2021.
John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming spoke about the game's latest achievement commenting “Huge congratulations to the winning player – we’re used to seeing massive jackpots drop on Mega Moolah, and €7.2 million is a fantastic amount to win. Well done to Optibet for claiming a second consecutive Mega jackpot on our network.”
Chris Davis, CPO at Enlabs also added: “We were delighted when Mega Moolah dropped at Optibet the first time, but for it to happen a second time a matter of weeks later is remarkable. I am certain that both existing and new Optibet customers will appreciate that this situation can only be attributed to the luck of the brand.”
