  1. I double checked some other casinos I know and that don't deal with cryptocurrencies. Their policy indeed vary: some don't say a word about required playthrough, so one can withdraw deposits whenever they want (e.g. Betway), other require 1x playthrough (e.g. Shadowbet), still other just ask a "commensurate amount of bets" in case of frequent deposits/withdrawals or they will charge 15% of fees (e.g. QueenVegas).
  2. This topic caught my attention as I recently started playing at BitStarz (thanks to some information I got through AskGamblers). After reading the above comments, I read again the Terms and Conditions of this casino and realized that the 3x playthrough is required only for deposit with cryptocurrencies; for traditional currencies, one only needs to play 1x, which seems more reasonable. They say it's "due to higher risk of fraud" with cryptocurrencies, though it's still not clear why the risk is higher.
  3. I realized recently that different casinos (not affiliated samely) actually share same multi-player slot games (multi-Avalon, multi-Isis): the games are running on the same server, simultaneously for players from different casinos. That makes me wonder what about individual slots: are they also running from a same provider's server to serve simultaneously players of different casinos? Your theory of compensation suggests me that it might be like that, in such a way that a massive win of a slot at one casino can influence its TRTP for players of other casinos.
  4. Thanks a lot pinnit2015! I looked at information available at Slotty and Betat. I came to understand that the question of variance for a certain slot depends on two factors: firstly, each slot machine has a factory theoretical RTP (I suppose this information is kept far from players); secondly, a slot machine can pay more or less than this theoretical RTP in real plays (God Random's will? Casino's adjustment?) and that's what casinos like Betat call HOT vs COLD (before I thought hot vs cold means more or less players who are playing it).
  5. In fact, I have no problem with debiting my account immediately to pay my gambling. But different debit methods can cost more or less or even none. Debit Card (instead of credit card) or eCheck, for instance, cost nothing, while Instadebit may cost something. I suppose no one would prefer a method which costs something to a method which costs nothing. I wonder why not every casino supports costless deposit methods. It would be great if someone can compile a list of all possible methods with their different charactaristics, advantages and disadvanges, etc.
  6. I read the very interesting post by Milka Mitrovic "All You Need to Know about Slot Variance at Online Casinos". But I still haven't got this point: how can one tell a high variance slot from a low variance slot WITHOUT PLAYING? Is the only way to know whether a slot is high or low variance is to play through and to see how the machine behave, or is there any other indication?
  7. Thanks a lot pinnit2015! So, it's me who have omitted noticing this statement of credit card company and taken my luck as granted by mistake.
  8. Recently I noticed that when a casino accepts deposit by credit card, there may be two different ways of processing that a player had better be aware of in advance. And that is: some casinos issue a simple request to your bank for a credit payment, while others ask to your bank a cash advance from your credit account. The difference may be more or less important according to each person's situation, because a cash advance implies not only 2.5% of commission, but also a consequent high rate interest on the amount of cash involved, while a credit payment has none of that and offers just all conveniences of a credit card in its basic meaning. The worst side of this is that casinos usually don't explane clearly in which way they will process your deposit by credit card (don't expect the support members of a casino to clarify this point at live chat, because they will all confirm that the request will be issued for credit payment, not cash advance). So you may end up having to pay some money to your bank because of commission and interest without being aware of it in advance! I myself have so far made deposits at various online casinos with credit card and it has always been processed as a simple credit payment. In my case, I have always had an agreement with my bank not to accept any request of cash advance, because I know I will never use my credit card for that. Thanks to that, when my bank recently blocked requests for my deposits from three new casinos where I signed up, I came to notice the other way of processing by calling my bank. I hope this information may be helpful for some of you.
  9. That's one of the things that makes me guess that online games are more controled by programming! They have access to all data in real time; it's just a question of parameters to tell the program how to choose the outcome and its timing. Everything seems so easy with AI incorporated in game softwares. Some think it's not worthwhile for company to spend money for that; others think it's obvious and very profitable both for casino and player.
