I'm terribly sorry for posting here, but why did you stop posting about your betting results, I'm wondering if you're going to do it soon. I can say that betting isn't an easy way to make profit, because you need to know a lot of information, in order to convert knowledge into money.  In the beginning my results wasn't great, so I decided to use Google in order to find some pieces of knowledge about it, I was searching for some time and I found out about this thing < snip >, there are tipsters, and they help to increase your profit. In my opinion, I think that betting is something difficult, so I wish you good luck in betting, buddy.

haven't posted here in a while but I will say I have a bet on the Nuggets tonight to beat the Grizzlies.

It's about 12 minutes until the game starts...

good luck.

Good luck with your Nuggets mate!

Personally, I prefer the chicken kind! 🤣

happy to report the Nuggets beat the Grizzlies .....(103-102)

the biggest leads were 12 by Nuggets, 9 by Grizzlies... and there were 15 lead changes.

note: adding in that the Nuggets had decimal odds of 1.69 (they opened at 1.64). I don't know the odds during the game as I wasn't checking them during the game only the scores. They were down by as much as 9 points (during the early part of the 2nd quarter), so their would have gotten to around 2.00 or higher I am guessing during that time in live betting. With 3.2 seconds remaining the scores were 103-102.....and a Grizzlies player missed a driving layup and looked to be possibly fouled during the attempt. Then the Nuggets got the rebound, and that player got fouled with 1.3 seconds left and then the game was over after a regular time out.

We dont have anyone here who updates about sports betting . Personally i am not a big fan of sports betting but maybe we could start a thread where people could suggest bets which they are a 100% sure will be a cashout. IPL starts next month maybe I could suggest a few bets as well.

Congrats on your cashout Flatzem.

3/3 for Flatzem. How much profits are you making on these bets. What should be the minimum if someone wants to start sports betting? Is the win vs loss strategy the best stategy or in game bets are better (as in they involve less risk)?

Of course.... :D

I'd go with Valtteri or Max, maybe Valtteri, cause he's at least 100 times more of a sportsman (and a man as well) in comparison with that... extremely cheeky  young fella from Netherlands. 😛

Yes, I kinda agree that Valterri would be a very good contender for 2021 F1 Champion...but I ain't betting on it though. 🤣

Sounds interesting! I will make a thread for sports betting, it will be fun exchanging predictions!

various amounts depending on level of confidence. Minimum to start sports betting? you mean bankroll size, that is up to you. You can read about bankroll management there are various models: Flat Betting: The best and easiest way to manage your bankroll is by embracing flat betting. Flat betting is a consistent, disciplined strategy that means you are betting the same amount on every game regardless of your confidence level. Flat betting isn't sexy or flashy, but it puts you in the best position to stay in the game long term. A good recommendation is risking between 1% to 5% of your bankroll per bet.

I prefer the confidence model and bet accordingly between various units. this page has a good explanation of all of them. https://linemovement.com/2020/07/09/bankroll-management-in-sports-betting/

The confidence model allows for you to increase your bet size in games where you feel more confident. Your standard wager should still be 1.0 unit, but you can increase your bet size to two or three units on occasion. (or 5 units).

Also this:

The only thing you’ll need to consider is if you want to go with the “to win” method or “risk” method. If you’re going with the “to win” method, you’ll need to take the juice into account in order to win one unit. That means on a wager with standard -110 odds, you’ll need to risk 1.1 units to try to win 1.0.

If you’re going with the “risk” method, you don’t wager the additional units necessary to cover the vig. That means on a -110 bet, you would be risking 1.0 units to potentially return 0.91.

In play betting can be good too but mostly prefer to do pregame but if you have a good prediction pregame and your team or player goes down by a number of points you can get a much better price on them in-play such as at half time and add on more bets.

Also prefer head to head type of bets , i.e. money lines... as there are no draws involved.

happy to report the Hornets beat the Kings .....(122-116)

the biggest leads were 15 by the Kings (during 3rd quarter) and 7 by the Hornets (during 4th quarter).

Hornets were down by 5 at end of 1st quarter, down by 6 at half time, down by 5 at end of 3rd quarter and finally up by 6 at end of 4th.

There was only 1 lead change and that happened late in the 4th quarter.

I really gotta get involved in the live betting aspect of it cause when the Kings were up by 15 during the 3rd quarter the price on the Hornets had to be somewhere close to 3.0 I did take a quick look during the 1st quarter when the Kings were up by 5 and the price on Hornets was 1.83 vs 2.0...

I'm planning to get back to some sports betting when F1 starts the new season. :)

First bet will most probably be $10 or $20 on Hamilton losing the title this year.

Let me know if there is any bet of Ferrari not winning the title.

OK although I didn't post the prediction & bet I had last night since I wanted to make sure I had the evaluation method correctly aligned it was a winning outcome.

Now then onto this new prediction/bet , and I am betting on the Mavericks to beat Blazers.... the Mavs are 1.66 odds (4/6) (Opened at 1.66 and fluctuating between 1.58 and 1.66).

good luck.
