Player conduct when using online slot

Recommended Posts

Hi

A strange question to ask the community but any feedback / advice would be great.

So, I play slots across a number of casinos and (call me deluded) but I think playing at certain times is more advantageous than others. I’ve set up tool which turns and plays the slots at certain times for a specific period of time i.e. 10 minutes here and there.

I wanted to check that if I won a large sum under using this strategy like a jackpot and had the money safely in my account that this wouldn’t expose me to legal action by the casinos at a later date.  I’m not cheating or colluding and everyone knows the house wins, so I don’t see an issue with it.

Any thoughts?

Think you'll find most folk are sceptical about 'strategies' when it comes to playing slots...i've won in non peak times, lost in non peak times etc; makes no difference as far as i can tell. Could think ' during these times, more folk are playing=more cash to pay out' but equally 'non peak time - less folk playing, more chance of hitting the RTP' - make no difference IMO.

So...if your're out and about and not at your PC, the laptop will load up, go into a site, login and pick a slot to play? Is it sentinel? Or have you trained chimps?

ANY form of program will potentially jeopardise winnings - i've seen casino's get funny about using the auto click mouse programme so i'd literally use NO form of online prog's when playing slots; you're just asking for trouble.

Yes there are times when playing is more advantageous and this would apply to progressive games (slots/table games when the jackpots are high enough to make the game +EV) all other times the games are -EV.

Beware that say something goes wrong with the tool and it starts to max bet and wipes out your entire balance. Bots can sometimes go haywire as some traders found out on exchanges when their bot glitches.

Believe it or not, winning or losing at slots, or on any game of chance, is almost totally dependent on your luck at any point in time! Luck is very elusive, no one can know when the luck is up or down, so everything is unpredictable.

The best thing to do is to play with small bets to test the water...if things are going good, carry on with bigger bets...if bad, quit and try again hours later, or the next day. 😉

@Flatzem, thanks for your response. I suppose my concern is if you won the jackpot- can the casinos come after you, like six months later. Or put another way, is it a criminal offense to use a bot.

@Afi4wins I’m determined to convince you that there are situations where you have a greater chance of winning. A really good example is the Daily Jackpot which runs for 24 hours accumulating a fund. There are some situations where the jackpot has not been won 10 minutes before the deadline. In this situation I’ve estimates the RTP is above 200% in certain situations. It just basic statistics. At 10’mins yo go, the traffic is high but nowhere early high enough to balance out the accumulated pot. If yo work out the expected value per spin, you’ll find it way higher than the stake. For every other slot it’s true you will lose in the long run but not for the timed jackpots.

Everyone has their own ideas and beliefs, but I for one will not believe that by playing within that last 10 minutes would get me that jackpot...not unless GOOD LUCK gives me that win! I may try a million times playing within that last 10 mins hoping to hit the jackpot yet NOT getting it!

Why don't you keep trying for say 1000 times and see if you can ever hit that jackpot! 😜

After they do their checks with the software provider they will pay out (if it's a large jackpot) if it's one of those smaller daily jackpots they probably don't bother any checks. None of this 6 months later business. Not really illegal but it might be against their rules to use bots. If casinos had their way they would get rid of all autoplay and want people to be always at their computer clicking buttons to spin. Thus people would get the full dose of dopamine at frequent intervals and addicted to the slot games. When you are away from the computer and using bots/autoplay then you are focused on other things and not getting more hooked on their games.

Playing during those juicy last 10 minutes doesn't mean he is guaranteed of winning that jackpot just means he has a higher chance/advantageous time to play it cause it's where majority of the jackpots are won and also it's where the jackpots are the highest so best to win it during that time so it would pay off. But there would still be thousands of players taking a shot during that time so the luckiest would get the win even on a 0.20 bet beating out those doing 2.00 or higher just cause for some reason the luckbox player was being a luckbox. Speaking of luck there was a story many years ago about a woman winning two cars (BMWs) (two separate draws on different days) at her local casino club. She said she had dreams about how to fold her tickets before putting them into the barrel). Why would lady luck just gift her these car wins. Just so her daughter gets  one car and she gets the other. Even tho they can't drive manual. Anyway there is no fairness when it comes to luck some people will win cars and lotteries and others won't.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers Forum. :)

While I certainly have zero trust in any of the countless winning strategies/recipes we have seen over the years I would like to use the occasion and give you two simple yet proven advice:

- using any additional software and/or hardware tool while playing in an online casino is a sure recipe for a disaster or in other words, prepare to get all your winnings confiscated  as soon as the operator finds our about you're using bot (and they will surely will, believe me);

- prepare to suffer significant financial losses until your winning strategy proves itself as working, if that ever happens of course. 😛
