Deciphering Degenerate CR wins

Recommended Posts

Here will try to decipher some of the degenerate Casino Rewards wins that are found in their weekly/monthly newsletters

lets start with Novembers monthly newsletter

in the last month's big winners (degenerates) section of the newsletter

we are shown 3 degenerates:

A.C. won CA$300,000 on
Aurora Wilds
at YGC

How did they do it if Aurora has max bet of 100, and max win of 2000xBet

A.O. won CA$225,000 on
Couch Potato
at CC

Couch Potato has a max bet of 15 and max win of 75K (5000xBet), so this degenerate won the jackpot win 3 times. Are you serious?

U.S. won €200,020 on
Lara Croft®: Temples and Tombs™
at CCC

how did they do it? if max stake is 20, and grand jackpot is 5000xbet.

max win on this game is not the Grand Jackpot, but can rather happen on a free spin with 15x multiplier. You can win up to 7,343 times your stake, and this amounts to 146,860 if you play with the maximum stake of 20 per spin.

Sounds like A.C won couple of times, I remember in another thread you posted Winners and A.C or A.O is always in there somewhere.

LOL, so basically we're saying these wins are essentially impossible? Unless they are final profit figures from a whole session perhaps? The second one is dodgy regardless if it totals 3 maximum possible hits, thats not gonna happen even in an all night session is it. Doesn't surprise me with Casino Rewards though.... they are so far behind the times now it's almost their USP.

Hi Flatzem

Your description of passionate gambler certainly is accurate :)

I see you've quoted the max bet limits from the official game documents (or checked them by logging into a casino you play at who uses the default settings on the game), however you've missed the part that lets each operator set their own max bet amounts, which we do for almost every single game. We also have the ability to set different max bet limits per status tier in our loyalty program. These 3 games have the same max bet limits for ALL players. You could easily log into any of our casinos to see these yourself, just in case you'd rather not take my word for it.

A.C. won CA$300,000 on Aurora Wilds at YGC - The player was betting $150. The max bet on Aurora Wilds is set at $150.
A.O. won CA$225,000 on Couch Potato at CC - The player was betting $150. The max bet on Couch Potato is set at $150.
U.S. won €200,020 on Lara Croft®: Temples and Tombs™ at CCC - The player was betting $40. The max bet on Lara Croft®: Temples and Tombs™ is set at $40.

All of these amounts are max payouts during the session. So the session may have had a higher winning total, however this is the maximum that any single bet paid out.

You may see these initials in our winners lists often because they are VIP players and they play often. Degenerates seems like a pretty harsh word to describe people you don't know, and very easy to use while sitting behind a computer screen. I see someone has also used it to describe CR. By far not the worst name I've ever been called, but I'd like to hope if you met me in person you'd be much kinder.

We have lots of lucky winners who manage to end up on this list as new players too, not just VIPs. If you're a little envious of their wins, perhaps you should try your luck. Maybe you'll end up on there too.

Everything about the group is distasteful; from their own practices, through to some of their amoral affiliates.

If you are seeing affiliates using bad advertising practices, please report them. We don't need those affiliates working for us. Thanks.

Thanks for the feedback. If you'd like to submit some suggestions on how we can improve on being behind the times, please send me a private message and I will pass all your suggestions forward to management.

Finally, if anyone has any questions regarding winners, or anything we publish moving forward, please feel free to private message me. Speculation doesn't help anyone and it just starts witch hunts which waste everyone's time.

Thanks.

Hey Renee.. I can't say for sure everyone in this thread thinks the same way, but I wouldn't get too upset about our use of the word degenerate... ***** i respect anyone who is spinning those games at $150 a pull, I use the word in a very tongue in cheek kind of way ... I doubt anybody here really thinks you guys would sell your grandmother for another deposit bonus or anything ;)

Are your casinos all still MG only ? Or is it me who's behind the times with that statement? Best educate myself before I drop you that PM!

I'd hope not! I only have one grandmother and she's pretty awesome :D
I'm also pretty cool if you get to know me!

Our casinos are all still only MGS because we are a viper client, not quickfire. Unfortunately we are bound by Microgaming in which software we can have, and they do not currently integrate other software into their viper product - they keep viper and quickfire products separate. However, we DO have browser play available on majority of our brands so the only thing missing is the other software.

I guess the question here then is, why stay on viper? The viper product itself (download) is high quality and runs far smoother than the browser version because it's not continuously buffering the game images etc from the server. The game is downloaded to your local computer so it only has to hit the server for the reel positions, not the images and everything that goes with it. It also makes it easier for players to find the casino when they want to play again as it's already there in their programs, which also means less chance of a player creating a duplicate account. So it gives a better gaming experience 99% of the time.

If you have anything else you'd like to discuss, please don't hesitate to get in touch.

Dodge Viper got discontinued but when will the viper client get discontinued that day is coming soon.

Well, the way things are happening now, it wouldn't be surprising to see all kinds of changes taking place...end of really good enjoyable play on games (HTML has greatly reduced the fun...they're so boring!)...end of Flash by December 2020...will that also mean an end to Viper and an end to all my flash-run MG games?

When that day comes, I'd probably be playing at 10-20% regularity...if not a total stop.  😜

Do you have a credible source for that information or are you speculating again?

the viper client used to have frequent crashes so it was widely talked about on forums that it would be getting discontinued and they won't bother fixing all the issues.

Speaking of the viper client I had a crazy coincidence about it over a month ago but I was reading about the viper client at the time on one screen (desktop) and on my other screen (laptop) I was playing bingo and at that moment someone wins a 2liner or something and their name had Viper in it.

Talk on forums is not a reliable source though, is it? A reliable source would be someone in operations within MGS, i.e. directly from the horse's mouth.

If Viper clients are restricted to MGS games, 100% of any fees on turnover are going to Microgaming. It wouldn't make sense for them to get rid of it completely in favour of a product where any game play on a software that is not theirs would not be making them any money, even if we were the only group using Viper considering the size of our operation. They would be volunteering to cut their own profits.

Until someone from Microgaming makes an official statement that they are getting rid of Viper, I would consider anything you read to be rumour.

I thought Viper was going when flash went? Or are we gonna get Viper HTML5? 😉

Honestly I don’t know how anyone can Play the MGs now; I was playing Immortal yesterday and upped my bets just to get rid of the balance.

And as for Montezuma....oh dear

Well Mr P matey, ONLY a very few oldie MG games are really worth playing nowadays! Immortal Romance got my full-blasted condemnation as far back as over 1 year ago when it started playing horribly and paying peanuts! Same goes for Break Da Bank Again and many more of my once-favourites! 😒

I sincerely hope that Viper would somehow RETAIN their flash-run games...or do trustworthy conversions into HTML5, UNLIKE what other providers have done so far! 😡

Unfortunately that isn't something I have any knowledge on so can't really comment.

If Immortal Romance is a favourite game of yours, we have something coming that you might like around January. It will only be available to play at the Casino Rewards group. Once you see it, you'll know exactly what I'm talking about ;)

I will say this MG has the best Blackjack software especially its gold series.

Can Renee tell us about what the max bets that could be set to for the different tiers in the CR loyalty program.

For example the lowest tier has min:1 max: 2000 for Atlantic City Blackjack Gold (8 decks), (used to be min: 1/max: 200).

then checked these;

Big Five Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (5 decks)
Bonus Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (2 decks)
Classic Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (1 deck)
Double Exposure Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (8 decks)
European Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 2000 (2 decks)
European Blackjack Redeal Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (2 decks) <- loading this game shows the euro currency symbol on the min/max table and in the credits box. nice touch.
Hi Lo 13 European Blackjack Gold Series: min: 1 max: 200 (2 decks)
Hi Streak European Blackjack Gold: min 1: max: 200 (2 decks)
Pontoon Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (8 decks)
Spanish Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (8 unique decks)
Super Fun 21 Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 200 (1 deck)
Vegas Downtown Blackjack Gold: min: 1 max: 2000 (2 decks)
Vegas Singledeck Blackjack Gold: min:1 max: 2000 (1 deck)
Vegas Strip Blackjack Gold: min 1: max 2000 (4 decks)

What do high rollers have their max bets set at ? 10K? 20K ?

Also what happened to being able to login with viper to practice account.? Now there is only one sign in button

I've also been told that the Viper Video Poker is the best around too.

I asked our games guy about the limits on the games you listed. He said the table games don't really get touched so they should be fairly consistent. So whatever you see for those games will be the same across all status levels.

Roulette has the option to do aggregated amounts on inside bets (for example betting on every number you can bet up to 50k or something like that).

Practice account was removed from viper many years ago. Not sure on the logic behind that but I'd be surprised if that was planned to be brought back in the future.

Hi Renee!

Oh yeah I do definitely agree the download client is the bomb, I used to play every day back when there were some decent tournaments to play ... they disappeared from everywhere I think though didn't they? The slots are much smoother, and no question the Premier Blackjack and Double Double Bonus Poker have been by far the fairest card games I've ever played online ... nice and fast too, which really annoys me about other providers... NetEnt in particular, that huge delay when you bust??? Awful

You could look to integrate some other games into your website version though couldn't you? I know a lot of people are complaining about recent updates to HTML5 but I have to say for me the experience of playing in browser is just getting better and better... maybe because I have a fast machine ... but the gap between browser casinos and the VIper client is definitely getting smaller, in my experience at least.

Regardless, I'm gonna jump back in this weekend, see how my session goes ... send me some luck at Casino Action plz ;)

Yeah tournaments were removed a few years ago :(

As we are a viper client we are not using quickfire in our browser version, so are still not able to integrate other software into it unfortunately.  Only the quickfire client currently has the ability to integrate other software.

Good luck playing at Casino Action! Have you tried our new progressive jackpot game, Mega Vault Millionaire, yet? It's powered by Mega Moolah and exclusive to our brands.
