Dead or Alive 2

Recommended Posts

Released casino wide tomorrow.

Of the 3 free spin choices the High Noon one is the highest variance, followed by the 'original' DOA of Old Saloon (pays are the same) and then the lower variance of the heist one. Can't see the point in picking the last one so will be 1 or 2.

Nearly 10 years since the release date of the original - will it play the same? Probably not - back then game lovers made games, now it's accountants and portfolio risk managers with too much input ?

Who knows - hard to think of many good sequels - certainly, the most recent ones have been pretty poor but maybe it'll buck the trend; doubt it though.

I've set aside 300 quid to give it a bash tomorrow night; see if the old 'it's new, it'll pay' theory pans out.

Been watching some videos on YouTube today, looks interesting but I'm completely shocked they've released a sequel. And we've recently talked about this and you're completely right sequels never live up to their predecessors! I don' think hitting those 5 scatters are going to be as easy as it has been for some of our members here.

I''ll be playing it too but with no where near the budget you have! My usual £20 deposit will suffice.

Dead or alive HTML is bad enough to hit five scatters in ( in excess of 350k spins for me I reckon) so lord knows what this one will be like.

Not been playing much recently so just built up kitty....

I think they’ve at least approached it right keeping the original game (well, in theory) and adding a few more. Maybe it’s cos it’s tighter than the first one and they want to get everyone off DOA1, and into it. Probably ?

NetEnt's 'Temple Of Nudges' put them at rock bottom - if you like this game, you've been suckered by them.

DOA 1 still couldn't give me much of the 'old enjoyment' - what can DOA 2 do in these days to prevent more disappointments??? :p

Thanks for sharing Mr P, appreciate that! :good:

Since NetEnt restricts Bulgarian players for years went straight to their site with the intention to try DOA 2 for free... The game wasn't available to play yet but oh my... shocked to see NetEnt decided to add one more 'role' to their business model and now acting as an affiliate?! Seriously... :fool:

Funnily enough I did notice that when I went on their site: popped up something about a 300 per cent bonus...

Dunno why they’re hard pressed for cash given most of their games don’t pay out anyhow

Good shout - a truely awful game. Got excited to get the free spins. Oh boy.

Okay, I'm back from a quick and short bounty hunt...with nothing to bring back, of course...but with plenty to say! Hahaha.

Firstly, I must admit, NetEnt did a very nice upgrade on the game's presentation - the Wild symbols are nice and I simply love the vibrant colours for the medium symbols. However, the low symbols seem to be drowning since the background is now transparent, unlike the old version, making them much less distinct.

Secondly, the paytable is still the same...but I really hope the algorithms remain the same too!

Thirdly, the 2 extra Free Spins features are really not productive, unless in very rare occasions, so the Old Saloon choice would still be the best, as far as I can see. The Stacked 2x and 3x Wild multipliers would not produce big wins, going by the old version of the free spins, simply because they tend to stack up on the last 2 reels mostly, but when stacked on reels 2 and 3, they hardly created big wins either, so if this algorithm is still the same, the new feature won't make much difference to the payouts!

Fourthly, the Train Heist is a bit of a bull! You need to get 16 Wild symbols to get that extra 5 free spins, which is simply ridiculous! Most probably, the Wild symbols do not stick as in the other 2 features, so it may be possible to reach that 16x multiplier level eventually...but trying to get 8 Wilds was already damn tough enough before, and I have never seen 12 Wilds ever before...so the algorithms for this feature must definitely be different...for better or for worse! I'd bet it'll be for the worse!

Well, we'll see how the game would play and pay soon enough...and I would also love to see how much of my 'presumptions' would actually be accurate! Hehehe.

I tried the game out in fun mode, just to check out how the Train Heist feature would play and pay...

the 1st Free Spins game came on the 637th spin...paid a lousy 11x win, even though reaching the 15x multiplier!!! ...

the later ones came faster and paid better too...the best was 166x win, also reaching the 15x multiplier!!! ...

but I really won't trust these payouts until I actually can get them in the real mode!

And this is what I got by choosing the High Noon Saloon feature...12 free spins...only 1 Wild symbol came...so where the f**k are the stacked Wilds for the 2x or 3x multipliers???

Simply more bull dropping than the non-sticky Wild feature...

Enough of bull droppings from this game...better improvements my foot indeed...hehehe.

Now going back to my Quantum Electro Dynamics...at least I can learn something new...and something more interesting too... :p

Hi all, got 20 no deposit wager free spins by email from tradacasino so gave it a shot, luckily got the free spins on the 18th spin and was surprised to see the extra features so decided go for the high noon saloon.

Paid only 21x should've tried train heist lol ?

Anyway some interesting info if it helps seen on YouTube a 5 part making of dead or alive 2 slot from netent.

The bonus round comes average 160ish and the high noon saloon how it works is if you get a 2x or 3x on a reel they all combine so max is 3x3x3x3x3 = 243x multiplier of full screen wild lines.

Also they have confirmed the demo and real play both play the same.

Tested it out on free play 6,000 spins (over three sessions) train heist got up to 27x multiplier on second try for 336x win and high noon never over 30x and the original DOA bonus pretty much plays the same with a max 250+ times win.

Don't like that they limited the bet options you can only choose level 1 or 2 not up to level 4 since I like increasing bets slowly.
