"You're no longer VIP" rant

Recommended Posts

So recently I commented on several topics here on the forum about casino VIP programs and mentioned that I'm VIP at Casino Heroes. Well, guess what? I'm no longer VIP! I've been depositing so much at Casino Heroes and last October I received email about welcoming me to their VIP program. The only perks were Sunday Freeplay where I'd get either free spins (with regular wagering requirements) or rubies I could spend in the store. Today I spoke with CS agent and asked if I'd get the Sunday Freeplay reward to which I was told- I'm sorry but you're no longer VIP. And all that because I haven't made a deposit there for a week! Recently I had quite a losing streak at this casino and set myself a deposit limit. Now they couldn't even send me an email regarding this, since I've been so, so loyal? I understand that VIP is not a requirement for a casino to have, but after this, I won't be putting any deposits as I really didn't like the way they handled it. As a VIP I had a dedicated Account Manager (but he never reached out to me with tailored offers or anything, unless I wrote him myself), so I'd expected for him to atleast let me know that based on this and that, I'm no longer qualifying for the VIP program.

Sorry for the rant guys, but given the fact that I had lost there and being treated like my loyalty is pointless, it just made me upset. Thank you Casino Heroes for the entertainment, and, bye!

Hmmmm...I'm feeling sad after reading your VIP story Blondie...but such is the situation nowadays with a lot other casinos too. A VIP level can revert back if no deposits are made within a certain period or number of days...so what's the blardy advantage of climbing up the VIP ladder anyway if only to lose everything and drop back to square one?! ?

Yeah...I had come across a few instances of such rulings myself. and I would avoid such casinos totally...or if I already have an account, I would quickly close them! No hesitations...no regrets!

Well, I don't talk rubbish, and I don't talk empty either...today, I had just closed all my Tranello/Araxio casino accounts...Boaboa, Cadoola, Campobet, Casinia, Malina and Yoyo...not one single Tranello account remains with me now...and many more other casinos to follow suit soon enough! 8)

So Blondie my dear, RIP that Casino Heroes and move on...you won't be missing out on anything either, hehehe. :D

Losing Casino Heroes isn't a loss....PNG at lower RTP setting, the gimmicky loyalty battles being the two for me.

Sounds like their VIP manager had a cushy job.

I played at them for a bit but they literally had no reasons to ever deposit again so the accounts just sitting there gathering dust.

If you do fancy getting something back for deposits (cash/spins/cashback) or having the odd surprise after a losing session then DO NOT go with Ikibu - I was on theirs and had one email from some chap called Winston, an offer of a 50% depo match with 90X wagering, yes just short of 100X wagering (actually more given the 50%) and a hello message.

Nobonus casino, part of L&L, offer decent ish cash back.

Like i said, Bet Victors was the best for me: 25% boost on losses AND wins each week - cracking. But those were the halcyon days on 2007 so probably gone now....

If you get high enough on Videoslots, you're guaranteed at least 100 euro each 5th level up - not great, but not too shabby.

Loyalty sucks sometimes, even though I don't play or deposit as much as you guys any more I do still have  select few casinos I stick with and I'd never made it as a VIP but hardly ever get loyalty rewards anymore.!! The other half players a lot less too so I can't evem use any he used to get! Going back a few years ago my inbox would be packed. But in all the years I've been playing I've never been made a VIP.

But I think I have to agree with the other comments and move on to the next casino. Their loss!

Being a vip has not served me anything jolly or fun in any casino really . If you are vip long enough there is less rewards than when you are a newbie and the more vip fabulous and loyal you get. Your vip agent will defenatly go missing eventually. Anyone seen Roy from royal panda lately? Neither have I and we were practically bff’s lol ( although I might have imagined said friendship. I mean I stopped paying his income due to their misbehaviour)

As I've heard at rizk and seen in other places, out of the blue, decent free offers or super great rewards tend to be reserved for player return/reactivation enticement and to acquire new players. Sites that honour the loyalty and long term play of their players seem to be growing fewer and further between.

Easy fix though if you're missing that VIP treatment, take the top 3 spots you've been feeling neglected/unappreciated by and don't visit them at all until they add you to that "reactivation/retention" list.. in the meantime, enjoy some sign-up bonuses and showering of spins etc from the sites working hardest for new players.

They could learn a lot from vegas.. show yourself to be a "player" even once and they never stop providing you with complimentary offers to return and try again and again and again, with the bribes getting sweeter and sweeter as your "wagered" tally grows to ensure those play numbers stay on their books rather than slipping out and into the pockets of the guy next store offering the same games..

I became a VIP at a casino due to some system error and for probably over 6 months I was enjoying the VIP promos including free spins were now valued at 10c per line instead of 1c and free bets valued at 50eur and low wagering bonus promos it was another world like in the twilight zone and then eventually it was taken away from me.

Lol, you tricked the system didn't you,  cool story tho how didn't they realize it for 6months how much money did you get from them?

Some of them can be good for a top up to your bankroll; up until last month i was getting 4x£50 by guessing the slot once a week=£200, then there was the 250 quid cash matches, which if you played your initial depo through once and had an average RTP of say 90%, was £900 quid profit; on average i say i was getting 1200 plus a month in free cash to play with (coupled with the extra spins but that came with wagering so won't include).

Not many decent programmes out there at the moment, must admit I've been spending more at the UK Bookmaker site these days as they run daily promo's; be it slots or risk free sporting bets. Not a lot coming from the other sites. May as well grease the wheels before it stops completely.

On the topic of VIP Programmes - got this email after i was complaining what was the point of a casinos programme when they sent out only but rubbish raffle/wagering tournaments (I have a decent enough bankroll most months but I can't compete with some of the guys wagering in excess of 1/2 a million a month, per their own leaderboard, so such things are a waste of time).

Eh, i thought i was in it...

Now i seem to get any of the offers but they're rubbish now: a weekly reload bonus (50-100%) that was CASH up to 250 quid, made it worthwhile (750-1000 cash). But now all it is is a free 50 quid a week and some weekly freespins that you need to wager 35x. Oh, and the high roller tournaments. Which I'm never going to win.

Even the semi decent schemes are all being watered down.

Wish it was 2006 again and at Bet Victor ? Not daft to not know the reason for these programmes but surely the point is to get me to spend more, not less - least try and woo me ?

It's my birthday soon - back in my high roller days i logged into BV to see a 2000 bonus with x1 wagering. Hazard a guess on this one being 50 FS in a PNG game of your choice.

Bet Victor was always cruel to me. Only ever had one £5 bonus. But completely agree! Let’s go back 9/10 years. On my birthdays I used to actually look forward to going through my emails.

My and the other half used to share our birthday bonuses. So we’d go through our emails and take half each. Can bet your bottom dollar that isn’t happening anymore ?
