I have been betting with bet fair from the start of this month and have had some success. I withdraw two amounts of money , one at over 1500 and the other at over 2k. Both was card reversed with out my knowledge and placed into a Exchange betting account, unto known be me( the reversal and the exchange to another account). I have been on holiday and not touch the account since. When I logged on to my online banking and seen nothing than go in in I checked my Betfair account and it was closed. I have contacted them and I have seen that there was 4 bets placed ( not by me) on some football matches which was never winners. Further to that the money I had withdrawn had gone back to my account, transferred to the Exchange betting account and then placed on bets in a casino game bets. The account is now under investigation and I’m waiting to find out what they will find in these fraudulent bets. Is there anyone who can reassure me this will be resolved?

Have they looked into the IP address/MACcode of when the bets were placed?

You'll understand casino's being very wary of such claims (some genuine, hazard a guess most aren't) so they'll probably be performing due diligence

You can always try and raise a complaint here but from looking at their history, Betfair are a bit patchy in terms of complaints resolution. But I'd wait to see what they come back with in a reasonable time.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

In your place, I would be patient enough and give the operator some time to perform the relevant investigation. Keep in mind this could take anywhere between a few days to couple of weeks depending on the workload by the relevant casino team.

Unfortunately, based on our experience handling player complaints for years, the common case considering your explanations given so far would be another family member logging in and playing out with your account. Which means account actions performed by same IP address... Which means impossible to prove it was someone else and not you... Which means you will not  be entitled to receive any refund... :(

Still, let's wait till the pending casino investigation is over and once we have all the info and details we could provide more adequate further assistance.
