Hi All,

I am playing roulette(tried all types) since one and half year and lost almost 60,000 USD, now it becomes an addiction for me and financial position is in very bad. I have no other option other than playing roulette and win some money and clear my debts.

Please suggest the best practice and any tricks to win the roulette and clear my debts.

Your help will save my life from this unwanted addiction and bad debts.

Thanks a ton

Hi there and welcome to Askgamblers.  :hi:

First and foremost, let me make it very clear that winning on any casino game is almost purely dependent on the nature of each individual's luck...some are born lucky, most are not!

Secondly, winning would be like flipping a coin...seemingly giving you a 50-50 chance of winning, but the truth is, it NEVER works that way...much much less in any casino game, whereby all the games are designed and programmed to give an edge to the casino!

Thirdly, roulette is a very deceptive game...yet lots of gamblers like to play it. You think you can easily win on either red or black, but it doesn't. Betting and winning on 1 number would pay 36x the bet amount...which is really NOT A LOT when compared to slot games which can pay anything from 100x up to 15,000x the bet amount! Jackpot games are even more exceptional with their super huge winning potentials! Consider these facts thoroughly before plunging back into roulette!  :D

Fourthly, all those so-called winning strategies for roulette are nothing more than mythical! Like I've said, you can flip a coin and it won't give you a win all the time. You can bet on red or black all the time and hope to win...yes...but you would lose most of the time! However, certain players who are born lucky, do make wins this way...but only because they have a lucky nature in them, unlike most others...perhaps 1 in ten thousand, or 1 in a million, are born lucky!  :p

In your case, no one can say for sure if you have a lucky or unlucky nature in you, but by the way things are going, it certainly looks to be unlucky to me, sorry to say. Your best resolution would be to stop gambling completely and stop yourself sliding down that treacherous steep slope. If that is very difficult for you to do at this moment, then perhaps you should try playing slot games for a change and see if any luck would come your way.

If you ask me...I'd say "quit roulette, try slot games instead, or quit gambling altogether"...the choice is yours Lokeshcb.  ;)

The OPs caught in the debt-gambling rinse and repeat cycle. Even if you won a ton in Roulette it’s more than likely going to be ploughed back into gambling, not debt easement. I understand why you want to do this but you’re going to exponentially increase the 60k to 600k.

The only solution is to step back, look at your income and expenditure and find a way of restructuring your debt to give you breathing space. And back this up with some support for quitting altogether. There is no quick fix for this or solution really.

Only you can decide to give up this fiendishly understated addiction and it’s going to be beyond tough - good luck.

Nature of gambling is important as well. Slots have brought a new wave of addicts - if you’re having issues with table games then slots are like a ramped up version of addiction so I’d definitely stay away from them - had you been a slot player those losses may well have tripled. In Las Vegas in the 60s tables made up the main entrance in most casinos with slots pushed to the corner, now it’s the opposite - showing how much it’s changed...

In the UK financial institutions operate to quite a high standard of ethical practices when being sympathetic to debt issues - more or less duty bound to reach an agreement play to repay. Not sure where you’re from but it’s things like that you need to do. We have some debt charities over here like Step Change - you may have something similar to help you send letters etc out to your creditors - repay your essentials first and the rest can talk a place in the creditor queue - don’t let any credit card company bully you into making payments you can’t afford.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

First of all, very sorry to hear about your gambling addiction. And kudos for your courage admitting it! :good:

With that being said and with all the precious advice given in the posts above, I would like to add two things:

1/ Chasing losses is usually a recipe for a disaster and the chance you'll find into even worse financial difficulty is 75%, even higher!

2/ Strongly encourage you to take a look at the guide below, it's only a 10 minutes read but could give you some useful hints what to do from here on.

SOS, I am addicted to gambling - what to do?

Let us know in case you need further assistance.
