Are casino deposit bonuses worth it?

Recommended Posts

It seems some have a ridiculously high play through that seems impossible with casino house edge. What is a good casino bonus condition? Is 30x the deposit good? Are these even worth doing?

It depends, do you have budget to play with real cash funds and without a bonus, or do you like claiming bonuses to have extra funds to play with?

Wager that is good is anything from x30 - x45 the "BONUS" amount only, if you get anything from x30 - x50 (Deposit +Bonus) then its too high.

I personally do not like bonuses these days anything, just too much hassle at certain casinos and 70% of the time you end up losing, as slots do not play and pay the way they used to anymore.

They are certainly worth it depending on what casino your playing and what the play thru is

For me I always start of with a £20 despoit and I always stick to games which I know to have a high RTP low bet 20/40p and attempt to build that gradually raising the bets as I go I never bet above £1.50 during wagering that way I can't get caught out

I also allow myself a lot of time this method has worked for me on at least a dozen occasions

Obviously on them bets u ain't gonna win serious money but seriously money to me and seriously money to u are probably 2 different things

Firstly, any bonus that are less than 80% would just be a waste of time and effort! I would only take 100% or more bonuses.

Secondly, any turnover requirement that are more than 50x the bonus amount are very hard to complete, so I wouldn't take them.

Also, a 30x deposit+bonus turnover, for example, is actually equivalent to 60x the bonus amount, so I would usually skip them too.

However, on rare occasions, I have taken up 50% bonuses, especially when nice free spins are attached to them, but I've hardly ever won from any of them - perhaps it's best to skip them altogether in the first place, but gamblers mind can go really fickle and crazy at times!  :p

May all become moot as they are gradually being phased out in the UK.

I only take them if I want a bit of play time or, as earlier, take 100% and roll on a BTG at max bet just to see if I can get a 5k x winner.

There’s a probability calculation you can do looking at Expected Values with RTP etc.

Most are of no interest to me. I can’t be bothered playing wagering. Next offer I’m taking is a sports bet - 100 quid 4 team accumulator and 50 bet back that is wager free. That’s pretty much the only type of bonus I’ll take regularly.

Bonuses designed to attract new users or return those ones who decided to stop playing. Actually, it’s possible to complete wagering requirements even if they are 50x or higher. The only thing you need is a lot of time. Solid strategy and some luck will also help. Anyway, I’d recommend taking only bitcoin bonus on < snip > because crypto offers normally have lesser requirements. Also, side bonuses like free spins or entries are not bad as they grant you advantage immediately and without specific return conditions. Other deposit bonuses became almost useless for occasional gamblers.

Well, I agree that deposit bonuses are quite attractive to users. For some players, the profitability of proposed bonuses may be a reason to choose one or the other gambling site. However, players shouldn’t underestimate the importance of additional terms. And yes, it’s quite possible to complete wagering requirements for 50x and even win some cash. But it may take a lot of time and patience.

Not if you're Swedish, come next year with their new licensing regime- you're going to be allowed one per user/account and that's it.  :o

10 years ago it was 300% offers, now getting 25% is a push. Coupled with bonus abuse rings and increased taxation, I'm afraid that, UK at least, the year of the bonus is in it's twilight years.

One per account per se? Never allowed another bonus from that casino?

yep, i can confirm what pinnit said, 1 and only 1 bonus per casino. Im not actually sure if its one bonus per casino or 1 bonus/license group, in which case you might actually not be able to get even that one bonus as there are quite a few casinos that share license (stuff like digimedia, direx, etc).

Dont quote me on that one though as its not 100% sure its going to work that way... but at best its going to be 1 bonus (welcome bonus) per casino. On a bright side i believe all current players will be entitled to at least that one bonus more regardless of their bonus history, once swedish license goes live.

Yes, it worth. A casino bonus is the added value that certain casinos provide to their customers. This gives players more playing time for less money. There are many different bonuses that work in different ways.

but you can bypass marketing tricks by knowing their rules of the game and tricks. But enjoy them! Why not?

Indeed, an online Poker bonus is a playing incentive issued by a poker room as a means to reward a player for playing. Varying in size and quality, these deals can range from $ 10 anywhere up to $ 1000 depending on where you’re registering and what playthrough requirements you are willing to accept.

I'm not addicted to bonuses, and honestly, I don't even pay attention to them.

I don’t want to be or fall into the trap of monopolized marketing.

So, not addicted to bonuses, not even paying attention to them, but obviously nothing against advertising shady operators without any valid license... 😡

Nah, not a good idea, definitely.... :nea:

Not all casino bonuses matter to me. I prefer free spins and cashback bonus. All other bonuses do not interest me, because there is usually a large turnover requirement, which takes away all the pleasure of the bonus.
I also want to warn all bonus fans not to create new accounts, because if you win something and want to withdraw money, you will be asked to send documents and then you will be told that you have created a duplicate account, which is a violation that will block your account. Always think with your head!
