Casino Withdrawal Time?

Recommended Posts

I have one at the moment with Redbet that is a week old tomorrow. And get the usual response "it's with our payments team for approval"

This morning i'm told QuickSpin have requested a gameplay check and will be processed when they give the Green Light.  that is a new excuse to me!!

It is depend on from casino rules

Some of them can give you an opportunity to windrow your money in 7-10 days =(

 ... I don't get your meaning at all Clubtall...withdrawing winnings is never dependent on a player's opportunity...it strictly depends on the casino finance department's approval!

If they say "no"...then it's a 'no'...if they say "wait"...then we just have to wait...no opportunity at all to make it go faster.  :p

certainly feels like we are made privileged to have a withdrawal processed. I don't like the "withdrawal waiting times are after we have done our checks" so basically we can take as long as we want before we approve but then if it in your bank within 1-5 working days, we haven't broke the rules.

I know...sign of the times when we see people saying ' Yeah that casino is OK...THEY PAY'.

Wow...they're good cos they pay me what i won....errr...why, thank you?!

Yep...even if I had to make an official complaint first to get my money...eventually...after more than 1 month...but they did pay..so "thank you!"  :p

Shame we can't get gambling covered by the Sale of Goods Act, or something similar

I like it when they tell me they're happy to be paying me my withdrawal.

Really? You're more excited about giving me the money than i am about receiving it  -_-

Hehehe...the hypocrisy and sarcasm of it all!  :p

Very true points... I hope at sometime it will change.

I can't see why something can't be put in place. You are a customer, they are a service provider... Why do they get to be different than any service provider?

Is/was there not any dubiety about whether the offering of a bet and customer acceptance of that, fell under contract law.

You're right - there is a gap - ADR's try and fill that etc but what there isn't is an ombudsman with punitive powers to sanction/enforce. The UKGC have said repeatedly, that they are not such. Basically there is no Financial Conduct Authority equivalent. If i ordered 2 washing machines and only one was delivered or if i bought one, but was charged for two - it would NEVER enter my mind of 'I won't get my money'. Casino's it's a bit more ' Damn, I've won a lot, hope they pay'. That's not right.

To be fair, i play only at (again, as far as possible) reputable sites so I'm 99% confident in any withdrawal i make.

Court is an option but good luck with that when they're based in Malta etc and the dispute may only be 5k etc.

Regulators can help by looking at these pending periods/reversals and start earning their money by placing stringent rules on them. But even if they do...who's gonna enforce it effectively?

All made harder by these casinos being offshore as well.....I can nip down to Argos down the street....bit harder to hop and skip over the Mediterranean

My first 10k plus win was back in 2006....honestly can't remember thinking/worrying about being paid. So maybe things have got worse  :p

In the Public Sector there is the SPSO here in Scotland for complaints ....I've had to attend a few. It's relatively amusing to hear some of the complaints

I got chastised for giggling when the complainant recanted their story

Very unprofessional

Complaints and Dispute Resolution

The Malta Gaming Authority handles all gambling issues for Malta-licensed gaming companies. Players who are experiencing a problem or dispute that cannot be resolved with an online operator licensed in Malta can lodge a complaint directly here. Alternatively players can contact the authority via telephone on +356 2546 9000, but they do advise submitting complaints in writing first

Thank ValDes,

Had another strange one this morning.

Deposited £1000, played for a bit.. didn't have much luck & had to go out.

Managed to get back to £1200 & withdrew..

Got a message saying it couldn't withdraw because i had not met the wagering requirement !!!

Basically i had to wager the full deposit amount before i could withdraw ??? Never have i ever came across this!!!

Oh geeees! That's just too bad mate...  :( ...but needing to wager one's deposit 1x, or even 3x, is more or less a standard requirement at almost all casinos nowadays!

The L&L group give you the opportunity to take out without x1 your deposit at the cost of an 'admin' fee of 5% of the deposit.

Some others like Slotsmillion have it at x2 and noticed one has x5, or something equally as criminal.

Probably less about AML and more about ensuring they cover their overheads  ;)
