Self-exluded from one casino, still play on different casino on the same network?

Hi!

Im curious about this. If im self-excluded on one casino, can i still open a account on a different casino that is operating on the same network? I read a case about that on this site, where the winnings were confiscated because the player had self-exluded from a different casino that was on the same network as the casino that confiscated the winnings. The casino also say this in the complaint "...but we have to act like this like any other operator that are under the Malta Gaming Authority and Gambling Commission of Great Britain."

Is that a general rule from the MGA then?

I hope someone have some information on this.

Hi sidekick!

Welcome to Askgamblers forum!

I doubt that I can give you the exact answer unless you describe more your "self exclusion" and the "terms and condition" of the casino you pertains. Another is you must first contact the same casino that you want to register or simply email them and ask your query.

I suggest to contact first the casino so you can avoid filing a dispute about them for the future and another you can't change their decision to confiscate your winnings if you don't comply to their T & C, your effort will be worthless.

If you self exclude at one casino and then play at a sister casino, chances are you may be able to register and play but in the end you won't get your winnings if you withdraw.

We have members here that know a lot more about self-exclusion than myself so I'm hoping you'll get some better answers soon.

Thanks for your replies.

I am self exlucded from SveaCasino. Yesterday i opened a account on EuroLotto. After i lost the deposits i started thinking about this (i didnt know the casinos had same owners), if i had won they would probably have confiscated the winnings. Their T&C doesnt mention anything about being able to play or not if you are excluded from their sister casino. But if its a general rule from MGA that the casino shouldnt let you register, then theres a whole other story and i should be able to get my deposits back? Not that the money really matters, but im just curious about this

Did you use an alternate email address, username, etc... as SveaCasino or the same?

1st just outta kindness from an understanding fellow gambler there is a reason you are self excluded. ... So obviously know better.

However not defending you but being honest if you were self excluded from one site obviously the entire casino family should have been notified.

Guarantee had you filed a charge back on any of them everyone in that family of sister sites would have banned you. Most do that anyway.

Yet like the others I'd wait for someone who is more knowledged on this.

Thanks for your reply. Honestly, i cant remember when i self excluded from Svea, but it is a really long time ago. I provided the same details as i did to Eurolotto. But i agree, i shouldnt have been allowed to register in the first place.

I'm afraid if that's the case and also you didn't contact the other sister casino of Svea Casino? You can chat them if you want and they're free to contact mate. Just remember it before you register to avoid confiscation of winnings and possibly restriction or account ban. If you're curious there are casinos that have different terms and condition about self exclusion and so we can't assume.

I did ask them, but not before i registered. They say its no problem. But it made me thinking when i see Kaboo said this in a case: "...but we have to act like this like any other operator that are under the Malta Gaming Authority and Gambling Commission of Great Britain." So if MGA has these rules, then all casinos should follow them, right?

Yes, I agree on you mate. That is why you just need to be careful whether you decide to play or not because you have the warning just think of that.

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

I'm afraid there's no definite answer to your question so what I would rather recommend you is looking at the topics below. I'm pretty sure you will manage to find so really useful info there. ;)
