[Edited:] Do not trust BOVADA & IGNITION casinos

Recommended Posts

After months of stalling to pay my cashouts these crooks confiscated all my account funds!! Both sites emailed me at the exact same time saying I was guilty of Bonus Abuse. Bovada and Ignition are for sure the same company because I called Bovada and then immediately after Ignition, and got transferred to the same Poker Security team. I tried to get more details or any evidence of what I did wrong but they used BS excuses and refused to let me speak to a supervisor. All I want to do is warn everyone, be very careful with online gambling sites and definitely STAY AWAY FROM BOVADA AND IGNITION CASINOS!

So what happened to me was, my friend told me about a special bitcoin promotion Bovada was running where you can get 100% extra on your deposit. I deposited $250 the first time and lost quickly. I tried a second and third time and lost those too. Then on my 4th deposit I ran it up to $7k and cashed out! I was so hyped about my win and googled other casino bonuses. I saw that Ignition offered a similar promotion. This time I deposited $1k the first three times and lost. I was only going to allow myself to lose up to my $6k Bovada win. Again on my 4th deposit, I ran it up to $7.2k and cashed out.

The next day both sites emailed me that they needed to verify my account. I emailed them my ID. I called Ignition and they actually verified my account so I thought it was all good. I called Bovada and they said my account was still on hold while they reviewed documents. Over the next couple of months I sent in every piece of documentation they asked for. I called them several times and all they would say is to wait for emails with their decisions. They kept stalling and stalling until finally a few days ago they confiscated all my money, WTF! Like I said earlier I called both companies and they wouldn’t provide me with ANY EVIDENCE. Actually Bovada said I was abusing the bonus by withdrawing and re-depositing, when in fact I NEVER EVEN RECEIVED MY WITHDRAWAL!!! Just totally lying and making things up! They jacked my winnings AND my deposits.

DO NOT TRUST BOVADA. DO NOT TRUST IGNITION. THEY DO NOT PAY OUT IF YOU WIN. PLEASE LISTEN TO MY WARNING. THEY DO NOT OPERATE LEGITIMATE GAMBLING SITES!

I believe those 2 casinos are blacklisted so we are aware of them and try to avoid them.

Most of RTG casinos are rogue, they keep giving players excuses for not paying them. The most used excuse was and might still is 'multiple accounts'.

Back in the day a RTG casino refused to pay my winning of 2K because I had a multiple accounts with them. I was a newbie then and it is impossible to have a multiple accounts. I guess they dislike beginners luck. I know it is unfair and it still is but when they are not willing to pay you wont get your money. You can't file a complaint because they do not have any valid license.

they are just a bunch of PATHETIC CROOKS!

Hi TouchDownBen

I'm afraid we've had many members report about problems with Bovado Casino, sorry to hear about your bad experience I wish I could tell you a complaint may help but it won't in this case. My best advice, as you've already said yourself, is to move on to a more reputable casino where withdrawals won't cause any hassle.

I wish I knew how crooked these sites were before I played. I received an email from Ignition yesterday saying the same thing. I am a regular customer who did nothing wrong. I'm not winning or losing more than a few hundred bucks. But they're trying to confiscate the $4,204 I have left in my account. I will be calling them after I finish my online research but I'm not optimistic since it sounds like this is something they always do to rip off customers.

Omg! I might be in the same boat! I have just read the t&c's of one particular casino I recently joined in regards to 'bonus rules'. It states:

Your activity in our Online Casino, by itself, is not abusive, but Your activities in other online casinos in addition to our Online Casino, taken as a whole, constitute such abuse of our bonuses, promotions, policies or rules.

My story is as follows:

I signed up at one particular casino and used up all my welcome bonuses. No such luck winning there. Then on the same night I signed up to a different casino offering the same welcome deal. So I though, ok, let's see how I go at this casino. Signed up and got my welcome bonus and happily played and actually won. I played through the bonus requirements and was able to withdrawal, pending verification of my account.

Now, this is where the t&c's kick in. These 2 casinos are sisters, and you know what happens when sisters get together haha. After reading the t&c's, which I should have done prior to sign up, it looks more likely they will come back at me declining my withdrawal, close both my accounts and accuse me of 'bonus seeking'.

I now feel like a criminal haha. Not looking good for me, but will see what happens over the pending withdrawal period. Fingers crossed!

Well this entirely depends on the casinos that you're playing in. Can you share this information or would you prefer to keep it private?

I will keep it private... for now. It will be interesting to see if they accuse me of bonus seeking. I have just now become aware of this term 'bonus seeking'. Multiple accounts could mean accounts across the entire affiliated casino groups? I definitely know you can't have more than 1 registered account at a particular casino, that's self explanitory.

I hadn't seen all of these reviews of Ignition Casino before registering and playing there until recently.  I respect all opinions left on this site and consider all of them as points of consideration when choosing a site to gamble on.

Recently, I have won at Ignition Casino and have requested a withdrawal.  Today, I received my check for $400.02 via FedEx.  I had no problem with receiving that check and depositing it in my bank account.  I didn't even have to do an ATM deposit to have access to my funds.  I wanted to let you guys know that there was a positive to all the negative experiences others have had in the past.  I'd like to think that maybe that Ignition Casino has improved since those reviews and maybe it was in part to the bad experiences that were left here.

My experience at Ignition started off great.. lost around $250-300 on my first deposit 2nd deposit won around $1600 and was paid within a few days via bitcoin with no hassle and was extremely impressed and excited to have found my new online casino as a recent transfer my Real Life slots due to health limitations. Unfortunately since my withdrawal I’ve been cursed with excessive poor luck that defies all statistics.... it seems that IGnition casino was frustrated with my large win and turned down all my bonuses/big wins, it is beyond bad luck at this point.. very frustrated as Rival makes my favorite slots available to USA players, but unless my rtp returns to a reasonable level shortly I’ll be forced to change casinos and post the evidence of insanely poor RTP I’ve saved in my play logs these past few months. Will let everyone know soon if anything changes for me at this casino as far as their slots go!

What are the odds of getting 4 blackjacks in a row? Ignition (Bovada) did this twice when I was playing there. The odds are like 1 in 4,000,000. It was fine as long as I was betting $1 or $2 per hand, but when I started betting $5 or $10 I started losing. When I switched to $10, $20 or even $50, Bovada-Ignition (and many other names) won 19 out of 20 games, and they got 21 half the time. What are odds of that? Astronomical.

I called Ignition and I recognized the voice of the person I was talking to, I had talked to him at Bovada, but now he had a different name. He has heavy East European accent but calls himself "Bruce" or "Dave". When I said "is this Bovada?" he hesitated for a long time then said, "This is Ignition Casino" and got angry when I asked again if it was the same casino.

It is the same casino, with exact same games, only a different background color.

So I feel the pain of the person above ...I have a recorded phone call now for proof that Ignition Casino and Bovada are operating without a Gaming License or a Rng current certificate......I need someone to tell me later of what I should do about it. I have been scammed for 2700$ from the site and was pressured by the Ignition worker to use bitcoin cash as a withdrawl method and never recieved my funds. I found out the funds were sent to a bitcoin account that is not linked to my account. I believe the worker had sent it to their own personal account or advised me to send it to the incorrect account deliberatley. I have spent 3 months callling them and asking them about my payout just like the person above stated I got the run around and always told that they are looking into it. Now with my research and talking to a woman that controls most of the calls who had lied to me several times over the phone about the license and operating legally, when in fact they are not legal. I am gonna tell my story all over the internet because maybe it will save some other anxious poor soul from the scam artists that call themselves people! I don't know how the worker's can even look at themselves in the mirror. I want them to fear the law and be shut down for operating under such conditions!

Hello there and welcome to AskGamblers.

Unfortunately, there isn't much you could do in this situation. Bovada has been blacklisted here at AskGamblers long time ago for operating without a valid license and if you had done some due diligence prior joining and depositing at Ignition you would have noticed the whole Bovada group was swimming into the rogue sea.... :(

You'd better use the occasion and learn your lesson, accept the loss and move on knowing what to do next time PRIOR joining any online casino brand.

I received a check via fed ex for $1,500.50& I was kinda sketched out  (I had recently got in trouble for getting scammed for a lot of money & I was the one who ended up arrested - but I was who got scammed long story for another time :) ) but I went ahead because I truly thought this money was real & I spent my real money for it & attempted to cash it.

So, I tried mobile deposit through chase bank - NOPE. & when you are mobile depositing, you must write on the endorse line "for mobile deposit only" well, they couldn't process it so they told me to go to ATM. Which honestly im scared because of my prior situation so I didn't f with it for awhile. Then i try again mobile deposit thru paypal - NOPE. Well, damn. Now I have it saying for only mobile deposit! So I whited it out(bad idea I know) Looks like we are headed to Chase ATM-  NOPE Man, Im to scared to get untroubled if it is a scam again /:

Also when I first attempted to deposit the sending address states it came from Canada . Im in AZ USA I look up the "banks" address & after little bit of elbow grease, found it. I think "yes!! Not a scam" but I look closer to the digits at bottom of the check for the banks "signature" how other banks will be able to locate where the checks come from or something like that... Anyways, I thought o was dyslexic all of a sudden, but im not so on the check the digits were all matching - except for 1. Then it all put into perspective.

Wow, that sucks. now it just sits here  taunting me because im scared ( with all the right to be, too.)lol
