Notifications are just fine now. I must admit, the past 2 weeks AskGamblers had so many reviews, i never received so many notifications before.

 

However Sharon, i cannot seem to quote forum posts when i use Internet Explorer, i can only perform such in Mozilla Firefox. Can you inquire about this one from your Dev team? I mean its not cookies or cache. Unless IE 11 is not supported, as i have done the necessary troubleshooting to make sure its not anything on my side.

 

I promise to give feedback regarding notifications on my mobile device today.

 

@Afi - I do not think its your ISP, reset all your notifications setting and reconfigure them on askgamblers, also check your filters and spam policies on your email account. Maybe you. Do you use personal or Public account?

 

If this is your ISP, they might have made changes to their network or firewall which means blocking incoming traffic/email from Askgamblers on their public IP, but they need to inform you about it at least tho.

Well mate, I have rechecked all my settings in Askgamblers, in my Firefox and Chrome browsers and in my laptop settings too. Can't find any changes from what I had set them to before. Something somewhere is affecting those notifications, maybe even a hidden bug in Windows 10, who knows.

 

Ah well, I'm getting along just fine without those notifications in my mailbox anyway. It keeps my mailbox MUCH CLEANER AND LEANER! No need to view, read then delete all those notifications, saves me a lot of time...waiting time...due to my slow ISP. Hahaha.

 

That's something good I've just got from something bad. Now I'm thinking...do I still want those notifications in my mailbox?

Hmmmm...MAYBE NOT!!!  :D

Yep! My mailbox don't get jammed up now...more like buttered up for smooth slippery viewing! Hahaha.  :D

It's like when i saw it first i'm so confused and excited need to take time figuring it out.

As for me, I'm loving the Bell icon more and more...

all I have to do is to click on one of the shown messages to read it...

and it takes me directly to that message, unlike the old way.

Very fast, very convenient...no waiting time...no time wasting either! Woohoo.  :good:

Yep I love the bell icon too! Especially if I'm hunting for a recent topic that has been posted in but I can't find. Have a quick look through the bell notifications and voila takes me straight to it!

To me, this Bell icon is PROBABLY the best new innovation from Askgamblers yet!

What's more, I don't ever have to shuffle through the numerous notifications in my mailbox anymore, and that makes for good happy sessions of reading emails as well as reading messages in the forum.

 

Only one thing though...I hope my profile inbox won't run out of space...I'm already more than 30% used up...

and I hope that all those unwanted or read notifications can be deleted at any time...I haven't done this yet, nor checked on it.  :p

Was this last night? If so I had some problems too but it all seems to be resolved this morning.

 

no, not just last night.. i had this issues for two weeks... i could log in but when i pressed forum tab it logged me out.. so i couldn't write at all... now i can write, but the problem is still here, i think.... because sometimes when i log in and go into forum it logged me out again.. :wacko: :wacko:

This usually happens when you've already clicked the 'Like' button once. So if you click it twice you get that message on the second time.

Ok thanks for making me aware of this guys. I'll get this checked out tomorrow and see if we have a known issue. Can you also let me know tomorrow when you visit the forum if you have the same problem again.

Even if your internet is slow or your ISP gives issues, its still very fast LOL
