This Chinese New Year is the year of the Pig...oink...oink...I never liked those animals...but I do love what they bring...fortune! ?

For starters, the Pig gave me a Mega Win on Supe It Up...not at my usual local Asian casino but at the newly joined one where I got that 5 scatters on DOA...on the 2nd day of the New Year, it gave me 5 Yellow cars in the free spins...woohooo. :yahoo:

But wait...there's one more to come...hehehe...

Who would have thought that after getting 5 scatters on DOA a week ago, it would come again...at the very same local Asian-based casino! But better still...it is the best win I have ever gotten on DOA...amount wise...please don't be jealous...just my damn blardy good luck on this Chinese New Year! ?

Anybody played PnG's Raging Rex game yet? Yesterday, I played it for the first time, just to get a winning screenshot to write a game review later on, but got a surprise win instead. After that, it was simply empty spins after empty spins...so I quickly ran away! Hehehe.

I was given 25 free spins on it on release at LeoVegas that I watched it thunder through leaving nothing but 6 or 7 cents in it's wake.. that was enough to deter me for now.. I have enough high volatility temptations as it is ?

My first impression on it was..."nope, it ain't my kind of game..." so when the spins were literally empty ones, I hammered in the last nail! ?

Have never ever seen a Play'No Go slot paying out soooo poorly and triggering features once in a blue moon (or even less frequently). :(

Definitely a slot game I shall never touch again unless someone pops up here with a hefty 1000 x win, at least.

This game reminds me of Raging Rhino and Jammin Jars...with its multiplying multipliers. Yes, huge wins are indeed possible, but so are huge losses...and with that, I let the sleeping Rex lie in the box...hahaha.

Yeah this is like the replica version of Raging Rhino, Buffalo Blitz, Epic Ape right?

However the scatters on this slot is so dammn scarce, you wont believe it, I feel like I am playing one of WinADay/SlotLands slots where the bonus trigger takes ages.

I think this slot can be added to the "Slots that take forever to trigger"...

My first free spins feature came after close to 500 spins, and Jammin Jars can even beat that, even though both's base game is empty at times.

Seems to be the trend of the year, add amazingly HUGE payout potential at the top end, cut out any need to let the player feel that they actually got any value out of their deposit on the bottom end, tease with few and far between bonus round that could have been soooo awesome, but instead were insulting.. then every now and again one of the massive hits from the high end goes off, rtp is validated, screenshots tempt all those who haven't had the "luck" for the hit and instead have only fed the jackpot sized screenshot they now know actually happens.. and rinse and repeat...

Definitely a serious case of less bang, more buck all around.

I couldn't agree more with you mate...very common nowadays, especially those new games labelled as High Volatility'...to me, none of them can even match the good old high volatility oldie games...hence it back to the roots for me...perhaps for ever! :p

Good point - I see many defenders of certain games act quite condescending to people who complain about some games. Their normal approach is to call some games HV and tell the player they don’t get it. Whilst that has merit in some cases, a lot of the games sold as HV, simply aren’t. They are MV at best, masquerading as HV slots whilst paying almost LV. Quite genius if you think of it. BTG for example only have one HV game IMO - Queen of Riches.

Napoleon is one of the more recent releases that is. And that’s why it has quite a few fans and arguably game of the year.
