I dont play table games regularly. I tried Blackjack in some RTG casino, 5 dollars chip! That is the reason behind my vote.

I really love the graphics table games have at Netent and Playtech powered casinos. Usually the minimum bets for games are 1€.

I just wanted too add some complement to your reply, this screen shot is from Evolution Gaming, I've seen Texas Hold'em also at Playtech. In addition Evolution Gaming usually uses a shuffler machine to speed up hands, nice  :)

I hate all table games equally. Just kiddin, I voted for roulette... Why you might ask? Well roulette is one of the very few games that can actually give you a killer win after a single spin, while with card games such as blackjack it can take an eternity and you really would need the doubles to go well and hit BJ's regularly to increase your bankroll significantly.

There is however also a downside to roulette. Especially with online roulette with live dealers, it's so easy to keep clicking the repeat and double button that before you know you'll be betting 100 euros a spin. I've had plenty of sessions where I would lose 1,000 euros in no time when hitting 10x nothing in a row. Although I also had sessions winning 1500-1800 euros on a single spin.

So of course it goes both ways, but roulette is definitely dangerous if not played with discipline. I also do not like the fact that the online roulette games with live dealers from Evolution Gaming do not offer the possibility to lower a particular bet on a specific number while keeping all other bets on other numbers intact when repeating your bet. So if you want to lower your bet and you play on many numbers, then you simply don't have sufficient time before the dealer spins again in 15 seconds.

And you'll hate it when the dealer actually spins your number when you don't have it covered due to a lack of time lol :(

I'm no stranger to any of them card games though. Played roulette, baccarat and blackjack the most though for about 10 years in land-based casinos as well as online casinos.

Wow, betting 100 euro a spin! Wonder what would happen if you do that while playing slots, ah Adebisi?! :D

Well, Valdes I would only play that high after having gained a significant profit first of course. I obviously can't afford betting that high with a fresh deposit lol. Or I would be broke in no time. I turned 100 euro into 3K only last month thanks to playing 100 euro spins on roulette and 200 euro blackjack hands. Eventually messed it all up of course since big bets = big risk.

Could have cashed out, but I could have also cashed out when having just 200 euro profit if you get what I mean. By taking risks you enable to go broke quicker or reach bigger wins. I guess I'm exactly definition of a gambler because I can just as easily play min bets of 0.09 on DOA 24 hours later :D

As far slots go.. the biggest bets I placed was just 50 euros on Starburst for only a few spins. I don't have the courage to play big on slots, because roulette and blackjack are almost 50/50 odds and slots can eat everything up during a dry patch.

No guts no glory is what they say right mate B)

Hehe, yes, indeed. However, most of the times I used more 'guts' than 'brain' when gambling I ended up with empty pockets and no glory at all! :D So, I guess the truth lies somewhere in the middle...

Ummm, I hope this doesn't mess up the poll, but I voted for 3 different games as I play them all. Baccarat, Roulette and BJ.

But I only play table games in land based casinos, while slots and poker is always online.

Playing table games without a couple of stacks of chips in front of me with a couple of chips in my hands to fiddle around with in between bets, just doesn't feel right ;)

Glad to see you back with us. Hope this time you gonna stay for longer. :)

I can definitely relate to that. Feels good playing table games in a brick & mortar casino. I haven't made a visit to one in almost 2 years now, while I used to be a regular going in almost weekly playing table games mostly including texas hold'em. Online play pretty much has taken over regarding my gambling.

The barrier to play online is so much smaller. I can just deposit a small amount and see where I end without having to put on some fancy clothing to look decent haha. I never feel comfortable going into a Brick & Mortar casino with just a couple hundred euros on me. Would have to take at least 500 euros to play and even then I could be standing outside within 30 minutes as minimum blackjack bets are 10/20 euros and roulette at 1-2 euros for each chip.

But I got to admit I miss the feeling. Should definitely head back some day B)

I cast my vote although I am no expert at online gaming, having done all of my wagering in brick & mortar casinos.  I feel that the classic poker variants such as Texas Hold-Em, 7 Card Stud and 5 Card Draw are the perfect gambling games due to the combination of skill and luck required for success.  Blackjack also has a skill component, but that skill is primarily memorization enabling the player to either just play correct basic strategy or to keep a running count of the exposed ten-values and aces.  An experienced player can minimize or slightly overcome the house edge but the advantage is razor-thin so the luck of the draw is still a major factor.  Baccarat can be relaxing in that you can use a simple system such as always betting on the side that won the previous hand.  You might catch a series of either player or banker streaks and with judicious pressing do quite well.  On the other hand a "choppy" shoe will break you if you constantly press at the wrong time!  Roulette and Craps are both games of luck and money-management.  They are fun due to the sheer number of possible wagers and the possibility of large wins sprouting from minor stakes.  In a b&m casino the feel of the table at these two games is of high contrast.  Roulette is usually a rather quiet and sedate game whilst Craps tends toward loud and alcohol-fueled.  Depends on whether you are in the mood for contemplation or fellowship!

So out of all the games you mentioned if you could only ever play one again, which one would it be?

I vote others, my choice of a table game can't be found in any casino and is played in a duet with a female opponent, involving profound acts of nudity and lingerie  :db:  :db:

Now...now...who is the naughty boy then???!!!

I voted 'Other' too...last year!  :D

Nope, no luck at all this year!  <_<

In fact, no luck at all for a few years already!!!  :D

Me neither, ever since a thick glass surface was installed on top of the table. Things get a bit awkward, but discovering the joys of spending time in the kitchen nowadays :D
