    I don't know if this is only me...but I hate the max bet button. Why do casinos insist on putting it next to the spin button. I have pressed it so many times its mad. And now I'm using my iPad for most things I'm pressing it more than ever, its not so bad if it only takes a few quid but when it takes like £25 and you don't win it really annoys me and Live Help will never credit it back to you, I understand why not but I don't understand why thy put it next to the spin button.

    The only place who have ever credited it back to me is Point Casino...it took a tenner off me which is all I had in the account...but I got it back the next day.

    I'm pretty sure you know the answer yourself, my dear Sharon! ;)

     

    I have been often a victim of this bad casino practice myself in my first 2-3 years of online gambling. And have asked numerous times the customer support (no matter if it was a NetEnt, Microgaming, or another casino) the following - "Why everytime I open a new game the bet is automatically set to max? Is not that a prerequisite for an unpleasant issue to occur?". The answer is always one and the same - "This is not a feature, which we can control, it is coded by the software vendor and we cannot change it." Why it is coded the bet to be set on  max  and to to min bet is a totally different story. .. :angry:

    I believe the way most of the gaming software,

    This includes the slot machines that are in most of the land casino's.

     

    It's designed to make money

    off "human error" . :diablo:

     

    I have found myself with only a few credits :bad: left -getting myself all worked up :help:  :help:  :help:

    and going into another slot game to bring my credits up quickly .....

     

    And then  =@ =@ =@ =@ =@ =@

    I forget to change my bet

    press the MAX BUTTON.

     

    and all my credits are gone  :girl_devil:  in one spin which was my own error. :o  :o  :o  :o  :o coz I a "human'  sometimes.... :blink:

    Yeah I agree, I bet loads of mistakes are made so then that means more money for them. It will always go in their favour and even though I've won loads I have always said and I truly believe it that casinos will always have the upper hand, they'll always have the last laugh!!

    Not actually... Personally, I know for at least 20-25 online casinos, which do not exist anymore (and it happens just in the last few months), no matter if they have or not the upper hand. ;)

    Generally, you are totally right of course, and it is all predifined in the magic combination RTP - Return To Player - value... B)

    I absolutely loathe the max bet button. You know they put it there
    intentionally though for two reasons. One like scyan said -- human
    error, because after all the casino wins more if you bet more! The other
    of course is impulsiveness, it's easier to just smack a button to bet
    it all then to have to go in and set your bet the hard way. And of
    course it never works out!

    We actually have a solution for this. On your Videoslots account you can set a Maximum Bet value. Should you set a max bet of €2 then you simply cannot make a bet of more than €2. It makes the max bet button less dangerous if you are scared you will press is by mistake or like RedBlueBird said, impulsiveness.
