Is everything normal with online slots?

Recommended Posts

I'm sure it's not just that I'm having a terribly unlucky run but  it's  been really bad for me at Wildz casino. The free spins feature seems to be less frequent and the payouts from them are  rarely more than what I have put in. It's been like this for so long I have to wonder. Are the casinos you play at like this? I'm a low stake (minimum) player and can have games gobble up $50 without too much effort but to get a $50 return from any of them is something I almost never manage. I don't know why I still play games that long - it never turns out good for me when I do.

Apparently, from what I can see, you have not been following all of the topics here, otherwise you would have read about the comments and complaints that many players have put forward, including comments from myself to them.

Anyway, for your info, with each 'upgrading' or 'maintenance' time-out from casinos or software providers, their games would undergo some changes...said to be for the better, but are actually only better for them, not us players!

My few favourite Playtech games are excellent examples of this. I play my games literally every day, doing at least a thousand spins each time, at times doing 5 thousand spins and more, so I'm very very aware of any changes made to them. This has been very apparent to me whenever the games undergo a 'maintenance' time-out for at least 3 days at a time. When the games come back, all my favourite games would play like ice, spinning and spinning for many hundreds of spins, with very little give backs, or even none at all! After a week or so later, the games would start playing almost normally again, BUT WITH CHANGES IN THEIR BEHAVIOURS!!! Going over 500 spins to trigger one feature game now happens way too frequently, at times 3 or 4 times consecutively after one feature game, for a total of over 2500 spins or more in a row!

All these changes are becoming ridiculously hard for us players...even a die-hard fanatic of Playtech games like myself is now rapidly losing interest! One day soon, I may just end it all and say bye-bye to all online casinos!

Sounds like I should be doing what you are considering doing. I was in a rush to get my thoughts off my chest I didn't check much of what has been posted recently - I think I might spend some time doing that. I've resorted to spending time playing the very crooked Evilution Roulette AGAIN. At least I can space out my losing there - IF I am being sensible. lol

Good news for a change. I had the most amazing time playing slots last night. It didn't start all that flash when I was playing Pragmatic games where I was just breaking even all the time after paying a handfull of their games - I would feed each game and then barely get my money back on the free spins. So I moved on to looking for a game provider I haven't played much before - ISOFTBET. First game was a disaster (down $50) which I played longer than I should have so I moved on to another of their games and that was an excellent move where I recovered my loss from the first game (that shocked me - when did I last have a $50+ win from a machine!). So I moved onto another of their games for another profit and another and another and another. I don't think I left any other game with less than what I had when I went into it - it's 4am so my memory is clouded. lol  Anyway my original $100 balance is now $253. Small fry for you whales but a thrill for me. :)

Nice going there for a change mate! Just be aware that it is usually hard to win on iSoftbet games...so you've been lucky so far...so move ahead CAREFULLY! :good:

Yeah, you're probably right. I was feeling careless or bold or both. I did find they did take some feeding before they turn around - mainly fom the free spins. I'm surprised I played them because their minimum on most games is 40c a spin and I prefer to play 20c or less. At 40cents a spin without getting much back your balance disappears quickly. I played another of their games a couple of hours ago ....same thing, little return in the spins and finally the free spins came up .......not so lucky with them this time. Fed the game $30, free spins gave me $3. Oh well.

Damn, I'm finding out what you said about ISoftBet ........ $100 given back without much effort.  Free spins aren't much good for me today - $5 return from any of them after giving them $20 or more each.

Don't waste more of your money on iSoftBet games mate...switch over to another provider instead. Some of the regular players here seem to be enjoying BGaming and Booongo games, but the latter, to me, is BOOO n go! Had a horrible time on their games the last time I played them. Maybe BGaming could be better. Just suggesting here though.

The fun continues - this time with BELATRA. I played a handful of games and picked up free spins paying me over $60 each time - on minimum 20cents a spin.  One of them was from my first 25cent spin - $72.  yeehaaa . I played a few other providers - so many dead spins to start with, with a lot of games. How does that encourage people to play? That was with Betsoft and Bgaming.  Even more exciting is that I've found something (a strategy) to play Evilution Roulette - wonder how long that will last. Will give Boognoo games a look as suggested. :)

Things seem to dry up a bit on my games from my favoured slot game providers. One day they can't stop giving me money - the next they're as mean as! I guess the providers which my initial experience with has been bad probably have good times. My latest good times have been with Microgaming which I thought I was never going to play again. Sadly they seem to be stink again  and I played quite a few games to find that out. I gave back most of what I won although I did do something I said I wouldn't do anymore - chase the free spins no matter what the cost. I paid dearly on a couple of machines $40+ input - free spins return on both was less than $10. Now I'm either losing on any game or just getting my money back from free spins.

A question. If a game you really really like gives you a good return in a session do you wait a period of time before you play it again? How long?

Another question: If you play a game at minimum stake for a while and the game continually takes and returns your money and you increased your stake after a bit of losing hoping to catch the next good return which will put you in profit do machines 'adjust' to thwart your strategy?

More games - more misery. Is ANYONE winning? Moved on to Bgaming games which just toyed with me - at first just stagnating - not winning not losing and then finally losing. Got free spins on the last game - a double lot which meant 20 spins - the return was less than $6. It's insulting being congratulated on Big Wins of less than $10 and you've spent more than that amount already. Bah humbug. These slots are for fools!

A lot has changed with online slots and depending on the juristiction your playing in : it is significantly worse I could talk for hours on the subject but in summary

the less lines the less the volatility watch out for high variance slots because there are so many nowdays just remember the rule the high the variance the higher the risk

these days I drift between quickfire , pragmatic , and call me deranged but netent too even with all the changes .

I noticed behaviour changes with many slots win streaks won't be prolonged anymore they are short lived / lightning quick I've seen no static activity across many platforms ,

win intensity strikes are becoming lesser and lesser or rare high volatility strikes which I would liken to a winning the lottery strike these days lot of money chewing games out there

its always been the wild west that said but I swear its 10x wilder boasts of 30,000x the bet etc etc great in theory but it can make bankrolls vanish with the wave of a wand .

Also the majority of wins i've had are with E-COGRA certified casino's its to the point where if the place isn't legit certified with them im closing accounts seen

too much low RTP activity to ignore at this point .

Personally, I have not encountered this before, at least there were no problems with free spins. There is also the issue of luck to consider. But in general, I would advise you to always check the slot or casino in which you will play. At CasinoHex, as well as AskGamblers, always focus on all the important points that interest the player. Therefore, it is easy to check all the information.

Luck now there's a curious word totally possible  if the situation were based on fairness but its a misty clouded affair especially when the majority are all having the same nightmare and have the facts and figures to prove it : RTP / Legal Requirements pfft what does that even mean anymore . There are some Casino's where the dream of Luck is still a reality but I'm not naming any just far too much doubt about the industry right now .

I agree with your words. I'm new to the game, so I'm looking at discussions in the forums of more knowledgeable people, which casinos they recommend or play themselves.

Ok lets talk about luck ,

There is such a thing though there are a few problems in the way its like a needle in a haystack if your both new to things let me save you a

lot of time and money go to land based casino's there are only a handful of online casino's that are trusted these days I mean lets talk about things

Las Vegas vs what we are playing with here currently a lot with maximum cash outs per year for crying out loud back yard operations without any

oversite or proof of auditing just taking someone's word for it over the internet not all of them but a good majority .

There are some establishments which are still playing straight but require a load of development many casino's players feel betrayed by

especially with the amount of deposits just to be slapped around over pathetic things because some crew cut decides its quantity over quality

but you see that's where a lot of online casino's end up just going bust they get greedy and suffer when their rep goes to zero .

Of course, I am a beginner, but with the advice of more experienced players, I found the perfect slots for me! This site  https://pokieslab.com/free-online-pokies/ has a whole section of freebies, which you know I was looking for. I also liked that everything here is honest, without deception. Therefore, seeing how many complaints there are, I sincerely decided to share my find with you. I hope that you will like them as much as I do, and of course we can discuss them, I will only be glad!

Usually, no external links would be allowed to be posted in this forum, but in PokiesLab case, it's a totally fun mode play site so I guess it would be okay.

Just for your info if you don't already know. ;)

oh thank you for letting me know about it in the future I will know.

But you are right about Pokieslab it is really cool!
