Mr Vegas - Welcome Offer

It was always my intention to sign up here this month and was just about to until I seen the bonus gets paid out in 10% increments. I mean I can't believe I wasn't expecting it considering my history with Videoslots. Am I the only person to find this annoying still?

I'll get a £2 on my deposit initially, completely pointless and I remember feeling the same about VS.

So for me, this casino is a no no for now. May try in the future with no bonus but looking for a better bonus right now, will go back to SlotsMllion and see what they have for me.

Yeah, was saying to Blackjax, it's not really a bonus: more a cashback option, like Trada used to do.

Yeah exactly. VS was the same when I registered years ago and remember thinling how pointless it was. I mean, even on a much bigger deposit I'm struggling to see where the benefit is?

Leo Vegas and Play Fortuna are even worse with their bonus offers. You need to wager the entire balance with raw money and then the bonus money is released. I remember It once took me 4 deposits to clear wager for $30 or so and it cost me $100. Everytime you deposit you think like only a few left in wagers and this will be free money but you keep putting in more.

Yep I remember these welcome offers, not sure if they were here though., I used to love LeoVegas has plenty of withdrawals over the years but their bouses always sucked big time!

Trada, BetVictor, Paddy Power, even Ladbrokes and Gala used to have the so called 'bonus released in 10% increments' policy back in the days. Some of them still using it, so not that unheard or uncommon actually. Some players would even find it more fair in comparison with the classic bonus scheme, simply cause the money once released are all your to play and deal with without taking care for the bonus rules. 😛

Haha, yes I suppose that's true. It's still not for me. Talking of BetVictor - think they're the only casino to have never offered me a bonus. Ever 😛

Yeah, but what i would say is that with Trada is was there with every deposit, which made it not bad, but with things like welcome bonus's i think players want one to a. play longer or b. maybe take a run with bigger bets and it doesn't really help you with either: in a lot of the case most wont even release the full lot anyhow; maybe that's why some casinos like it 😛 I know personally, once i hiot the bonus funds i put the bet up and just go for it (i never find low rolling trying to clear it works much - best go HV and relatively high IMO)

Hardly get any of them anymore anyhow, so all moot - in fact Novibets 100% to 50 quid yesterday was my first from them in 3 years.

Sign of the times - i certainly have no desire to register with any new places these days to get one anyhow

They were my best casino for perks back in 2007-2010 - think they were Victor Chandler then and still remember driving home and getting 'Hey, Happy b/day, we've given you 500 as a present with x1 wagering'  - their deposit offers back then were good as well, x5 wagering on a lot as well.

I think @ValDeshad the same treatment. I was a regular there, at least one deposit a week at one point. I enjoyed their games, interface and smooth withdrawals but boy were they tight on the bonuses 🤣

I have noticed that I always play worse than usual with the welcome bonus. Probably all due to the fact that there is no fear of losing your own money. You just want to relax and have fun.

I think if I had recorded all my deposits and withdrawals, a lot of withdrawals have been a result of a welcome bonus but I definitely see where you're coming from here.

Do we have a MrVegas rep here on Askgamblers? Reached level 21 and support had told me twice that I'd be getting the special wheel as it's so difficult to get there. Now they're saying there's no wheel award for that. Super upsetting as for why customer support misinformed me twice and clearly I spent more cash to wager to this level. 😕

There's a VS rep but they won't talk about Mr Vegas (even though the emails come in with the VS banners and says VS on the payment receipt 😆)

Yeah, there are no set wheels so surprising, though not really, that they told you nonsense

Apparently random but if you play lower RTP games (which at MV is pretty much them all, including the 90% DOA)  and at higher bets you're meant to stand a better chance of getting on - i say apparently because pretty sure it depends on your wagering but who really knows.

Hi Blondie, I’ll check it out Monday to see if we have anyone. I know Pinnit has answered you about the wheels but you shouldn’t have been told the wrong thing, I’d be annoyed too.

Probably thinking...the reason they've said yes to level 21 having a wheel is probably because the person was working on VS's chat the previous work pattern and forgot they're now Mr V for the current one🤪

Last week i emailed Mr V...got a reply back with the VS background/letterhead type thing....2 minutes later, the same reply, from the same person, but with the Green Mr V background 😆

Thanks guys for your replies. My frustration comes from the fact that I specifically asked MrVegas wheel and they said "yes, there's one"- several times. I'm not one to complain but this felt very unprofessional and misleading. I've also sent them an email and they're saying they're escalating it.. Not hoping on much but let's see.

That's possible. But 3 different agents spreading misinformation? That's a whole another level.

Videoslots uses reduced RTP for their slots (does this apply to all players or just selected countries? may have started with a few countries then made for all sneaky way of doing it?),  is this what Mr Vegas does too? considering they are a sister site of Videoslots.

MV offers even lower RTP's than VS - eg DOA 94 on VS, 90 on MV  - probably using MV as a tester for the main one, VS.

Pretty sure they're doing it across the board - makes a mockery of 'only the uk cos of the increased costs' etc

Running at 90 you'd be better off going out to a bonfire and throwing the deposit onto it.

What i would say re the VS group is that unlike some places, that would give you a Goodwill gesture for their own incompetence, VS are quite resolute (almost adopting the USA position of 'we will not negotiate with) and unlikely to offer owt in return. Very similar with their complaints, no wiggle room etc.
