The AskGamblers Podcast Goes Live!

Recommended Posts

Just when you think AG has done it all they come up with even more epic ideas! They have now launched their very own Podcast show and each episode will give an insight into topics related to the iGaming industry.

Their first podcast focused on “Positive aspects of cryptocurrencies at online casinos” and they teamed up with our main man @OlleBitStarz to discuss it! You also get to learn about how Olle got into the industry, did you even know he used to be a Copywriter!! Olle if you get to see this I could literally listen to you all day! I hope you get to do more of our podcasts in the future.

If you get some free time today, please have a listen and we'd love to hear your feedback! Also we'd really apprecieate your suport and if you could subscribe to our pod using Spotify we'd be so grateful! To do this just hover over the podcast and click subscribe which will take you to the picture I have attached. Just hit subscribe, it will take you to spotify, just tap Follow.

Might be a good idea giving some airtime to players as well; could provide the contrast to any casino perspectives as well: i'm sure there are some guys in the casino's who are ardent players themselves and share many of the some concerns about maybe where the industry is/has gone as well and where we will be in the next 5 years (Uk - dead - answered my own question)

Go see if you can get the head honcho at the UKGC to appear 😆

Thank you so much for having me, guys! Very grateful and humbled to be your first guest :)

just finished listening to the podcast and then went to look at the reviews for your casino but couldn't help but notice there is one player that said he had about 9.9 BTC (deposits) confiscated cause of something related to not providing a selfie and not doing a video chat. In todays value those 9.9 BTC are worth about 459K euros. ! just curious how that situation finally ended up  that was back in January 2021.. seems like a strange case.

Don't need to think too much of what was going on; from being more concerned about the deposits weirdly, through to saying he sent something when it looks like he never etc, looks like he was caught with the proverbial pants down.

Also interesting to see how crypto is, per the last AML regulations, firmly brought into the AML arena.

Hi there,

It was a weird case indeed, but happy to share a few details about it.

To make a long story short, it was the case of a guy actually stealing the identity and passport of another person and pretending to be him. The reason why

he did so was because we believe he wad stolen the funds via some crypto investment scheme scam.

Funny enough we were able to locate the real owner of that passport who was most likely the victim who hadn't just had his passport stolen but most likely

also ripped off with funds said fake investment scheme, and it was not the same person playing at BitStarz.

We reached out to him and told him that his identity was being used online because if that happened to us, we'd like to know too, but naturally the guy was not very happy to talk to us as I believe that he thought we were also some kind of scam (the guy had never heard of BitStarz before).

Very sad case,

Olle

Anyone @here interested in the next topic? 😉 Sneak peak and a keyword, just for this crew?  Plus, I think that maybe all of you could help me with this one...

I vote for Mr Brown to be on air AKA " @pinnit2015 "  - Maybe even him and @Afi4wins to be on air together, given their extremely huge difference on views and opinions on certain subjects within the iGaming industry!

Also in terms of Questioning - We should  get guys live on Podcast to discuss the following:

- Why Some Casinos have the ability to pay within minutes and why some have to take 24 up to 3 days to pay - Poor Management or just stalling Tactics?

- Why do some Direx N.V Casinos like Bitstarz and Gunsbet have a payment difference of 12 up to 24 hours given they use the same platform and operate under same umbrella.

- Look at Trada - They paid within hours before the migration to Aspire Global, so with the move to the new platform - Why could they still not maintain 6 hours or less instead of the normal 48 hours like the other casinos operated by Aspire Global? Is this management/owners own choice or do they have to actually follow the rules of the company (Aspire Global Itself) that used to have 48 hours pending.

- Why do different countries get paid faster than others. If i look at many subjects such as what Pinnit discussed, I get paid within 24 hours via e-wallet, where as the UK get paid within  minutes straight into the bank account that is at the very same casino we both played at

 - Another example - @kayenne23 got paid within a few hours from Emojino Casino via e-wallet, but I got paid after 48 hours via e-wallet even though I was verified before my first deposit? Where do those differences come in?

- Also why does casinos advertise if you use certain payment methods you get paid faster and no verification is needed. Similar like if you use Crypto, they will pay fast like minutes, and cannot do the same with e-wallets? Is this due fees from payment processors or special relationships with these companies like Ecopayz etc?

I think @ValDes - Should be next - Always wonder what Deep voice sits behind the name and obviously the pronouncing of the "Eloquent" enough word! 😆

My beloved colleague and friend  @Goxy actually tried to convince me to be the first podcast guest, but hey, Guru is not the priority here, it's YOU and all the industry info, and secrets, and all those casino people behind the curtains you wanna hear and know more about. ;)

I was kinda imagining a podcast in the form of a casino-FAQ-workshop with.... drums rolling.... You, Mr P and of course, the AG forum doyen Afi-san. Now that would be a dream podcast which I'm pretty confident will stay for the next generations of punters! :clapping:

Of course, it is the AG podcast project owner @Goxy who will confirm the time slot when and if we could organize and do that but hey, @Afi4wins, @Fiekie247, @pinnit2015, do you guys fancy the idea in general?  👨‍👨‍👦

This has to happen! Who better to talk about this industry than the experts themselves. If you all say no, I'm quitting so you'd better say yes 😝

Guru, I would also love to see you in a future podcast for sure!
