The Great Illusions Of Fun Mode Play

Recommended Posts

On a rainy Sunday evening, I decided to play a few games in the fun mode, after losing whatever small real money balance I had in my casino account. Nowadays, I only play at my regular haunt, the one and only, a local Asian-based casino. I no longer play at any other non-Asian casino because both my Neteller and Skrill accounts have since become useless for making deposits for gambling play. Hence, it's "bye bye" European casinos from me...maybe for ever!

At my local online casino, there are only 2 European provider games available, namely PlaynGo and Pragmatic Play. Pragmatic games have always been a no-no for me...I don't like them, they don't catch my interest...so it's either PlaynGo or Playtech games for me, always. Never mind about the several other Asian provider games...they don't attract me either.

Anyway, what I want to bring forward in this topic here is about the great illusions that playing games in the fun mode can bring. European providers have more or less abided by the ruling that all games must play identically at all times, regardless of in fun mode or in real money mode, but for Asian casinos, they are still very laxed on this, simply because the few Asian Gambling Authorities have not, and perhaps would not, really regulate and implement such rulings. What this implies is that playing in the fun mode is still UNBELIEVABLY EASY TO WIN!

Lets take one of Playtech better games...Heavenly Ruler. My last real money session on this game yesterday went drastically bad...it simply ate and ate my bets, without even giving any 2-scatter teases! In fun mode play, the first free spins feature game came within 30 spins, and the next came within 50 spins. This can NEVER HAPPEN in real money mode...believe me when I say this! What is even incredibly unbelievable, is the number of retriggers the second feature game gave...a total of 295 free spins after 15 retriggers, for an easy win of 1013x! In real money mode, anyone would be lucky to escape with the usual 30x win with 15 free spins! Up to 500x big wins can come of course, but very very rarely indeed, never mind a 1000x win!

My top favourite games like Safari Heat, True Love, Panther Moon and Dolphin Reef, are more stabilised in this sense, meaning, they don't play or pay so vastly differently between the two modes of play. This should be the way for all the other games too, but it isn't so.

My fun plays on a few PlaynGo games, namely Book Of Dead, Legacy Of Dead, Pimped, Holiday Season, and some others, behaved not much differently either. It was always much easier to win than when playing with real money!

Anyhow, the point I'm trying to make here, is for everyone to be aware of such differences in play and pay, more so if playing at Asian-based casinos.

Since we're all stuck at home nowadays, do play and gamble responsibly at all times, and be really aware of the pit traps in the games. Good luck and have fun! 😇

When I started playing online casinos I you used to do this a lot.  Check out all games of a provider in fun mode and list all bonuses that triggered the bonus on regular basis. Then would play only the games that paid me in free play mode. It was the dumbest thing to do. I lost a lot of money when I started playing online casinos in the first eight months of online gambling. Then I took a break.  I had no cashouts in my first 14 months of gambling. My gross loss is first eight month loss= next 4 years 4 month loss.

I have a software by which you can convert demo balance to real money balance. You want that?

Hahahaha...what's the use of that software when it converts demo balance into virtually non-existing 'real' money? 🤣

Yes, and you are not the only one who may have gone through the very same mistake of believing in good paying games in fun mode, when the reality may be the exact opposite.

We all learn from our mistakes and we wish other newbies would not fall prey to such disillusions of good paying games in fun mode. New regulations have improved this situation to a certain extent, but many players still believe that fun play is now as identical to real money play and that the results in fun mode can be acceptable for playing with real money...IT ISN'T AND NEVER CAN BE!!!

Experienced players like us may well know this, but I really wonder how many of the newbies do know. 🤔
