Verification rules

Hi @Tony11245 and welcome to the AskGamblers Forum. :)

Please keep in mind that all the relevant account verification rules and procedures are usually duly stated within the Operator's Terms & Conditions. These rules may vary significantly depending on the Operator's license where the 'stronger' the license is (UKGC, MGA for example) the stricter the verification procedures are.

Currently and if I recall correctly of course, it's only UKGS licensed brands where some initial account verification is required prior first deposit.

Welcome to the forum. First of all before making a deposit or claiming a deposit you have to fill in all your details only then you are allowed to deposit.

And no, it is not mandatory to get your account verified before making a deposit. But i suggest you should get your account verified because it takes about more than two days to get your account verified. Some casinos might verify your account in less than 24 hrs as well.

PLEASE KEEP IN MIND THAT YOU WILL NOT GET YOUR WITHDRAWL PROCESSED IF YOUR ACCOUNT IS NOT VERIFIED.

A few more things if you are new at gambling. Please check if casino accepts player from your country because you maybe able to sign up and deposit from your location but the casino may have listed in restricted territory. Always check max bet size if playing with bonus otherwise you violate casino policy. Always use a deposited method registered to your own name. Avoid a casino which has bad reviews.

I realized some people who comment just say the same thing that others previously said. Like say something diff. and if its been said don't say anything at all!!

Sorry for my laughing...don't intend to offend anyone. I can have a weird sense of humour at times! 🤣

Blackjax is just trying to be useful and helpful mate, no harm in that, although what he said may be repetitive of what others have said before. 😏

Hi all, just wondering if anybody knows the rules regarding verification, in particular is it true that before a casino verify,s you you cannot deposit or play at the casino.

Thanks

As others have said, its the withdrawals you really need to worry about - I'd say its actually an improvement that they are often now checking peoples ID before allowing them to play, as it ensures there won't be any garbage when the player makes their first withdrawal - if you can't spin the reels before confirming who you are, it feels like the casino are taking their legal obligations seriously. If the same casino allows you to play, accepting some decent amount of money along the way, then decides they can't possibly give you your winnings without confirming your documentation it obviously feels like they are doing everything they can to come up with a reason not to pay you...

Lets not forget also, that the casinos will never refund a player who is unable to complete their  verification procedure - quite likely they will be barred from the site too or at the very least won't be able to play any more games until you DO complete verifiation.

So, make sure you have what you need, get it checked straight away whether they ask for it to be done that way or not, and don't deposit anything until you are sure you are playing on a fair playing field! Whilst its never happened to me, I have heard tales of players dropping hundreds at an online casino then being refused their winnings as a result of paperwork. That's a seriously sh*tty situation nobody wants to find themselves in.
