    Cobra Casino - Possibly Misleading Promo

    Hey Guys

    Just want to get your opinion - So Cobra Casino has 20 no deposit sign up spins when registering through askgamblers. However I see the bonus expired now, but was valid when i opened an account at Cobra Casino.

    Now I received an email for welcome bonus and cashback offer

    Now I made the deposit of 20, and entered the bonus code, however I could not get the bonus as skrill deposits are not eligible

    My problem is I played with my straight cash, however when I lost I contacted Live Support for the cashback and they said this to me.

    Am i right by saying this Promo is misleading? As I should qualify for this offer? The email does not state minimum deposit of 100 euros for cashback etc?

    Do I have a case to open a complaint? Not for the money, but just in terms of basic principle and the fact that I feel they BS me out of my cashback as the promo state I can claim cashback up to 20 if I lost my balance,

    Am I right?

    You are 100% correct. The promo is issued as this: you deposit 20 euros and get 100%  plus free spins etc. In case of losing your deposit of 20 euros, you are entitled to receive it as cashback. The cashback here is 100% so that means you have the right to receive 20 euros of your last deposit. Keep in mind that skrill and neteller deposit methods do NOT let you participate in any promo etc. So i dont know if you are entitled to receive the 100% cashback bonus. 

    PS Cobra casino has changed the bonus terms suddenly without warning the players that skrill and neteller are now excluded from any promo. So i as well fell into the trap and deposits via skrill for a weekend reload bonus which was never issued. So yes, i personally dont like those kind of tactics.

    What is written in the Cashback terms on their website? Perhaps it is stated there (sorry, but I'm not in the mood to check it out myself! 🤪)

    There has been MANY misleading promos via emails, and this is yet one more of them! Nowadays, I would check the terms at their website first before taking the promos at face values. Yeah, I've been fooled several times before as well!

    Mate, you missed the important points...Skrill was mentioned as not eligible for any promotions at the casino, and Fiekie did used the bonus code. 😜

    It is very misleading! Going on what the picture says I would say you have grounds for complaint however it would depend on what the terms annd conditions say as  Afi mentioned. Seems strange to me thaat this is a combined offer but one part would require a bigger deposit than the other! 

    If the cashback needs a 100 deposit then it  should be listed as a seperate offer not under the same one! Very VERY bad marketing.

    Not sure what's written in the offer's detailed terms and conditions, however what I found in their bonus terms is this rule:

    To get the cashback, the minimum loss amount for the previous week shall be at least 20 EUR/USD; 30 CAD/AUD/NZD; 200 NOK; 80 PLN; 1,400 RUB; 2,400 JPY; 8,000 KZT; 1,600 INR; 0.0024 BTC; 0.092 BCH; 0.14 ETH; 0.52 LTC.

    Again, if there's nothing mentioned in particular within the offer's detailed terms and conditions, IMHO, you qualified for that cashback. You know what to do if the Operator is refusing to accept your claim and give you the cashback.

    This is the entire email, you saw the middle part already and I know alot of Direx N.V offer these cashback promos, as this is exclusive to the relevant email specifcally according to my knowledge

    The bottom of the email

    Normally if there specific terms to the promo, then you see it as per below, However it says claim the first deposit on minimum of 20 euro, however if you lose your first deposit then claim 100% cashback.

    Similar like the ones below which I used and they issued the cashback after I lost my deposit - They gave me the cashback, even though I made straight deposit without claiming the deposit bonus

    Also @ValDes @cocopop3011 - When the sign up 20 no deposit spins was still valid, they claim they do not have that offer with you guys, and that they cannot be responsible for 3rd party information. I even raised this with AG support team and they were waiting on feedback

    Still have not received that 20 sign up spins despite the above response.

    I think I am done with Cobra, will write a review and most probably open a complaint against them for the cashback.

    Deposit bonuses cannot be claimed with skrill - Cashback is excluded, if I were to deposit 1000 euro with skrill and then claim cashback, they will issue, as they offer 10%.

    Even with the promo offer, they gave bonus code for welcome bonus of 150% and 50 free spins, however the cashback is in case of a lost, whether its with or without the bonus, that is how I saw it with every other Direx N.V/Dama N.V cashback offer.
