    We Need Testers - Apply Within and Get Rewarded

    Hi guys

    So, I have something exciting to share with you. 

    We are currently looking for people to carry out a simple usability test for AskGamblers which will gather your thoughts and feelings on our new design. 

    This will be in the form of a guided test that we need you to carry out which will ask you to complete a number of tasks and should take a maximum of 15 minutes. 

    You will be required to record your screen whilst completing the tasks and we will give you all the instructions on how to do this so don’t worry. Everything you need will be supplied. Please note that the only thing that will be recorded is your screen whilst completing the test and nothing else. 

    You will be required to enter some demographic information as follows: 

    Gender, Age, Location, Ethnicity, Household Income, Job Title, Company, Industry, Company Size, Seniority. 

    This information will not determine whether or not you will be eligible for the test, it is for demographic purposes only. 

    For now we are looking for 5 members to carry out this test on their desktop. We will look at ramping up tests in the future with the possibility of mobile testing too. Our aim is to find a panel of users who would be willing to carry out these tests on a regular basis. 

    Now, you’re probably wondering what’s in it for you right?

    Well for now...The five people who we use for the testing will be placed into a random draw and one of you will win a $50 Amazon Voucher, perfect just in time for Christmas right?

    We may look at tweaking the incentive scheme as time goes by. 

    If you think this is something you can help us with please put your name forward below. We are looking for a mix of users which can include our most loyal members right down to the newest. There is no minimum number of forum posts required. So, if you’re reading this and you’d like to take part but have never posted here before, please feel free to pop your username below. 

    I will contact successful candidates asap.

    All the information will be sent to you by email and it will detail exactly how the test works and tell you exactly what to do. The answers will be recorded during the testing. Don't worry it's easy!

    Let me give my thoughts on this matter...

    #1. I don't use a desktop, only a laptop...if it's the same thing, then this isn't an issue.

    #2. Stand a chance to win a $50 Amazon Voucher? Hmmm...I'm not interested in that Amazon Voucher unfortunately.,,I don't use vouchers and I don't use Amazon either.

    #3. ONLY 1 out of the 5 testers would get that $50 voucher? Hmmm...an 80% chance of not getting anything for being a tester! All 5 should get something... 😜

    #4. Getting $10 each from Askgamblers would mean a lot more...I could use it to play my online slot games! 🤣 

    Don't know about others, but that's the reasons why my name isn't here. 😜

    In regards to desktop - yes this is the same as a laptop. 

    We can look at tweaking the prizes when we run future tests. I may have an idea actually which I'll see if I can do now but in regards to the actual amount it will remain at $50 for one person for this round of testing.

    For nowm the prizes will remain as stated in the original post. But in future tests we can allow a voucher for each participant at a lower amount.
