  1. Hi folks With the end of 2016 approaching, it's time once again to check how good or bad those of us playing on a regular basis were doing this year. And please, don't forget to cast your vote. Cannot wait to hear about your gambling adventures.
  2. Just wanted to share something with you guys tonight which I hope you'll enjoy reading! It's no secret that my "gambling time" has more than halved over the last two years with the arrival of the little ones and my duties here at AskGamblers, which I wouldn't change for the world . Going back 4 years ago I was pretty much playing every day! Deposit after deposit, casino after casino, I knew about every new game, every provider and pretty much the ins and out. Whereas now, the time I take to pick up new things has drastically changed, and today got me kind of reminiscing! It made me think of the changes it makes from being someone who plays every day to someone who only gets to play now again and when time allows! I've been thinking have I saved money? Pretty hard one to answer this. Yes I'm making considerably less deposits but obviously that means considerably less withdrawals! I'm not someone who has ever kept a record of my outgoings and in-comings so who knows with this one! I can tell you something though I really do miss the big withdrawals! Next...the slots. I get to learn about new slots from you guys now and sometimes it takes me weeks until I get chance to even play a new release. This is definitely a downfall to not playing as regular as I was playing. It also means when I return to a casino from my last visit there's a ton of new games there that I've never played and I find this overwhelming never knowing which ones to try On the plus side - Now when I look for new casinos there's loads there for me to try. Whereas before I'd be searching every day for a new casino to come out that I can play at! Do I miss playing all the time? Nah...I definitely don't. I actually love where I am right now, I may take longer to try new games and may be a bit behind but I get there in the end! So yep, that's pretty much the life of an occasional gambler, not sure how many more of you there are like me?
  3. Am new on here! These guys seem to be operating a few solid sites. Haven't tried them all(!) but personally like the likes of Guts, Rizk and Ikibu. What are your thoughts on their sites? Thinking about trying some more of theirs given I've always had good experiences with deposits, withdrawals and customer support. Which ones should I try next? Any to avoid?
  4. Register with the code CWHEDHDM47 for 10 euro free without deposit to try THE casino.
  5. To say the least, I am a bit surprised this one hasn't already been started! With all the discussion about favourite promotions, Christmas styled calendars and such, I am surprised nobody has thought to ask the real question! What is your favourite Christmas slot? Do you have a top 2? A top 5 even? Personally, my favourite is a bit contested at the moment. We have Fruit Shop Christmas Edition. Free spins with certain wins and multipliers (2x is still a multiplier!) in every free spins round. What's not to like? Then the new contender - I Love Christmas. 25 lines, up to 5000x win multipliers and my favourite part. The bonus round - Unwrapping multiplier wins really does brighten up these winter nights! So the question stands. What are your favourite Christmas games and why?
  6. Santa’s got a bounty of bonuses and free spins for you this Xmas. On the big man's behalf StanJames.com is giving away over 70 individual bonus prizes and a MASSIVE TOTAL of 10,000 free spins between 11th and 22nd December. Wager just £10 for one entry into the prize draw and there is no limit on how many entries you can have. Bonus gifts range from £5 to £500 and because Xmas is all about giving, or so they say, you can also get to up 500 in free spins. It’s the Xmas stocking filler you’ve been waiting for, and remember, Xmas is all about the giving and our Xmas Giveaway of course! Visit Stan James Casino for more information.
  7. Halloween is coming and our team have come up with a list of Top 10 Halloween Slots....And in my opinion they've got the top one pretty much on point! Halloween Fortune (Playtech) is definitely my favourite themed slot and I'd put Lucky Witch (Microgaming) as my 2nd place. Are there any that you like that haven't been included in the list? Gong back a few years ago I would have put Zombies (NetEnt) in the list but I just don't play it anymore but I know we have a few fans here. How about Micrgaming's new Lost Vegas Slot?
  8. Okay guys so me and Valdes have been thinking of how we can run a Christmas contest this year and we've come up with something we hope you like! The Christmas Screenshot Contest will run alongside our Game of the Month Contest, so you will use the original thread to tell me about any screenshots you have uploaded. Here's how it works 1. The Game of the Month Contest will run as normal. So you still pick your one game for December and upload your screenshots as usual 2. In addition to that you can also upload any screenshots you have that are on any of our CHRISTMAS THEMED SLOTS 3. For each screenshot you upload where the win is 50x or more your bet you will earn ONE EXTRA ENTRY INTO THE PRIZE DRAW 4. You can upload as many screenshots as you like as long as they are on a Christmas themed slot 5. Please post the link for your game and tell me how many you have uploaded The Prizes For December we have a $75 prize pot which will be split between THREE members 1st Prize - $50 2nd Prize - $15 3rd Prize - $10 When? The contest starts TODAY (5th December) and will run until the 31st December. Winners will be announced on the 1st January. All other rules are as per the original thread. Just a quick reminder though guys - ALL SCREENSHOTS have to be 50x or more and they ALL must be added to the game review. No screenshots to be uploaded in the thread for this month. Any questions away.
  9. Wow i just got an email from one site that Betway Casino has added Netent video slots. This is really great news for Microgamimg and Netent slot lovers. If there’s one thing players like, it’s choice…and this makes Betway Casino even better place to play than ever. What do you think Askgamblers?
  10. Hey Askgamblers here is my idea of free roll tournaments as we mentioned few days ago, here is something i have come up with and any other more innovative idea is more then welcomed. First we have to vote on what game the tourney would be or maybe admins could decide that. I would like for the tournaments to take place on weekly base and Sunday would work great for any of us(hope everyone will agree) so because its on weekly base we have 4 resets of play ,that way we have possibility to save the best score and the best players score will win the first reward. The rules needs to be simple, anyone who wants to take part in Askgamblers tournaments -entry free -entry open to all Askgamblers members -have at least 100 or 200 posts (admins will decide). -must have an account at casino which Askgamblers will decide or open one so the prize could be claimed -must have made at least one deposit in that casino for the month we are playing 1st place 25$ (25$ free chip in casino) 2nd place 50 free spins (no wagering would be lovely jubbly ) 3rd place 25 free spins 4th place 15 free spins 5th place 10 free spins 6th-15th place 5 free spins buuut if the interest of tournaments would grow, then Askgamblers team needs to workout on doubling the prizes or at least give more free spins
  11. Okay as promised we are going to go with Icy's fantastic idea where you get to vote for your next Game of the Month. Usually this will run for one week - I'm starting this one a little early to test the waters. I will post three games at the end of every month - Your job is to vote which one you'd like to see Game of the Month. The game with the most votes on the last day of the month wins! Here are the three games in the running for MAY. Piggy Riches Game of Thrones / Game of Thrones 15 Lines - This counts as one games but I'll accept screenshots on either variant Break da Bank Again / MegaSpin Bread da Bank Again - Again this counts as one game but I'll accept screenshots on either variant Cast your vote (ONE PER PERSON) in the comments below
  12. Hi all, I have been gambling for two years now, but still feel a novice in terms of strategy. I know it all comes down to luck of the draw. I like to play a couple of micro gaming games and also some NetEnt. They are usually my favourites. What I am wondering is when you leave a game after a significant win (which I normally do) when you then come back to that game will it carry on with the sequence as you left it, or does it reset at all? Is there a time limit if it does reset the sequence? Sometimes I have had a big win, and then have gone back and won even more. As we all know after a while the game goes kinda dead, and you could have loss after loss. I know there is no way to work out how a slot will completely play out, even though I have gotten used to how my preferred games work to a degree. I'm just curious as to how all of you like to play your slots, and when do you normally know when to walk or make your withdrawals. Great forum by the way, with very nice and helpful people.
  13. Dear all, My name is Jirka and I'm a PhD Student with the University of Luleå, Sweden (click to see my profile). My research is about online gambling, but it's not about problem gambling. On the contrary. It's about what we as gamblers enjoy with our hobby. I created a questionnaire and would really appreciate if you could fill it out, then share it with others and ask them to fill it out too. Please note that the participation in the questionnaire/study is of course anonymous and the data will not be shared with any third party. This is the link to the questionnaire ---> https://goo.gl/forms/ebuIRNy38TQmgsZc2 You are more than welcome to contact me under [email protected]<script data-cfhash='f9e31' type="text/javascript">/* */</script> for any questions that you might have. You can also post on this forum here and I will do my best to answer you as quickly as possible. Best regards and thank you so much in advance, Jirka
  14. I've just seen we have in our directory Halloween Fortune II, of course the sequel to one of my faovurite Playtech slots Halloween Fortune. Since I don't get to play Playtech casinos nowadays I had no idea about this release. It's not available to play here yet so I'm assuming this is a new game that maybe hasn't gone live yet? Or is this old new guys? Please, please tell me more. Cannot wait to try it. I absolutely love the first game. It's not a game that has brought my huge wins, not by any means but it's just a game that I have always enjoyed playing and a great game for wagering to IMO.
  15. So..I've just come across the slot Twerk by Endorphina - and I have to say these gaming companies never cease to amaze me. Whatever theme will they think of next. I'm currently trying it out (in free play of course) but I have to say I'm finding it extremely boring with just 5 paylines and 3x3 reels. No bonus game just free spins, but there is a battle mode which I've yet to play. Anyone else here tried it yet? I'm expecting the sequel to this game to be the s**t drop ...I assume you all know that one too
  16. Hello fellow gamblers, I should start with the fact that I am really new to everything related to the word casino and betting in general. If I am talking bull... (yeah you know the word) please excuse me. Recently, I am really passionate trying my luck on the roulette. For my bad luck, I discovered that in my hometown there isn't a live roulette and my only option to play roulette is through the slot machines. I am assuming that if there is a live dealer who spins and drops the ball into the roulette the chance of getting a random number must be 100%. If I am wrong please correct me. However, before a while, I read that the slot machines are using mathematical algorithms to determine who loses and who wins. What I understood from that article is the fact the machines have two moods - sad and happy. If the machine is in their "sad" mood your chances to win something are minimal and vise-verse. If what I understood is correct then is the roulette on the slot machines (in general not only in my city) following the same principle or the numbers which are picked are fully randomise? Thank you in advance. Yours faithfully, Petar
  17. Does anyone know what's the situation between Marvel and Playtech? Their partnership will be dissolved? What happens in a situation like this one? Will all the Marvel-Playtech slots be pulled from the casinos?

  21. Hello everyone* I just come across this hybrid slot created by students and its skill-based. I think its very funny and brilliant idea but I have no clue if this slot could really work. It will be tested soon and I hope it will go live as soon as possible and we might get online version of it to give it a try soon. I would appreciate your feedback guys** Let me know what are your thoughts Cheers* As skill gaming prepares to unleash itself on the casino floors of America, two enterprising young University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) undergraduates believe they may have come up with the perfect puzzle-game-slot hybrid. UNLV undergrad and inventor Trot Pettie at the 2016 Global Gaming Expo (G2E) in September, demonstrating “Line ’em Up.” The game has as much in common with Candy Crush Saga as it does with a traditional slot machine. (Bizuayehu Tesfaye/Review-Journal). At just 20 years old, Troy Pettie and Evan Thomas have co-founded software development company Guru Games, and they hit the floor at G2E last week to showcase their new game, “Line ’em Up.” “It’s inspired by Bejeweled and Candy Crush,” Thomas told the Las Vegas Review-Journal. “We took what we loved about those gaming mechanics, what made those games popular, and then we took what we know about gambling games and traditional slot machines and we melded the two to make something that’s seamless, unique and something that could actually work in a gambling space in a casino.” Beta Testing New skill-based slot hybrids, or video gaming machines (VGMs), could debut in the casinos of Las Vegas and Atlantic City within weeks, with Caesars properties likely to be first to test them out on their customers. The idea is to tempt millennials onto the casino floor, a demographic that has little interest in traditional slot machines. The new breed of games will involve more strategy, skill, and social interaction than their one-dimensional predecessors. And they offer versions of games that millennials are used to playing, such as racing and puzzle games, that are like Line ’em Up. For the first time, they will offer variable payouts, awarding slightly higher odds of winning to those who have mastered a certain game. The difficulty is finding a game that’s challenging and fun enough to keep the player playing, but hard enough to prevent them from winning too much. Plus, the math needs to be balanced correctly, so that the house still makes a profit in the long-run, but pays out enough to reward skilled players. The House (Still) Always Wins But with Line ’em Up, the boys think they’ve cracked it. “The great thing about our math is it meets all the Nevada gaming regulations,” said Pettie. The mathematics dictates that the house always will have an edge of 3.5 percent for those playing optimal strategy. For the rest of us, about 6 percent. Pettie and Thomas, who developed the game under the guidance of Mark Yoseloff, executive director of UNLV’s Center for Gaming Innovation, say they are currently in talks to develop the game for a land-based casino. In the meantime, it is available for download as a free-to-play social casino app. Source: www.casino.org
  22. Without any law restricting gaming in this beautiful country the providers are pulling out... NETENT, wms and Nexgen say buy bye to us... I get email today from BETSAFE that I got some useless Dracula spins... I have not llayed in a week so decided why not... Go play them.... RESTRICTED COUNTRY UNIBET followed wi NEXGEN and wms and soon Netent. Just a matter of time before they all disappear. Looks like picked the right time to quit gaming.
  23. So, we've waited most of the year for it and now it's here! The final slot in NetEnt's Rock Trilogy - Motorhead. I haven't played it yet but I'm wondering if NetEnt has left their best till last! I know we have a few fans of both Guns N Roses and Jimi Hendrix, so I'm looking forward to hearing everyone's opinions on this. Including my own once I've played it. Hopefully we'll get a few big win screenshots too! Now I'm not a fan of the band so the soundtracks will be new to me for this slot The game is already live at VideoSlots guys, click HERE to read more.
  24. Hi everyone I'm not sure of how many of us here now use auto spin all the time? I'm pretty much using it all the time and very rarely being able to actually watch my sessions, just going back to them now and again. Most of the time seeing my balance considerably less or around the same. BUT....Don't you just love it when you check your screens and your balance has gone up by a HUGE amount!! It hasn't happened to me recently but it's happened loads of times in the past. Just wondered if I'm alone on this or if we all pretty much experience this? And if you do can you remember any times when it's happened that you could share with us? The only downfall of this is that you don't get to capture the big moment!
