Heh TexasJ hope you've had a cash out since you posted!
The advice-thought below isn't necessarily for you but I hope you see the relevance. Its a couple of thoughts on psychology, as a casino player going through a dry spell I find it effects me, first knowingly or not it starts to haunt me, you know just eat away.
And I start to realise all crappy things my casino does, Why does every chat start with 'heh how are you?' When they know I've just spanked my bankroll. Why since the animations speeded up on thunderstruck do i never hit the great bonuses anymore. Etc etc. What can also happen is i start chasing losses! Not straight away (session still starts with 25cent bets), but as i eek through bankroll, getting annoyed at the same old pattern,i put in the odd 50cent and when down to $4. 'What the ***** it makes no difference' and before i know it i lost 10% of my bankroll on last spin.
Anyway my point is, a dry spell often affects our gameplay.
So some maths' if you are playing 50cent and only 50cent at 1000 spins an hour I expect you will still have some bankroll at the point the hour is up 25% of the time. (Med volatility slot).
So what is advice, 1) i pick a new brand for some of my gameplay, could be old casino i used or just sister brand of my favorite', it gives me a fresh start. 2) plan and monitor my play, is hour sessions at 50 cents, recording max win, number bonuses, max balance, end balance.
Lots of people like doing this, for me it sucks, sapping the fun from it.
But and here is the gotcha, it resets my thinking, breaks the cycle gives me a fresh start. So when ready I go back to my favorite and it is not just fun again but I'm not associating any negativity.
OK. Long post over breakfast, apologies but hope was interesting point of view if nothing else!
