WWTBAM is the younger brother (or sister?) of Extra Chilli, and to me this slot is a lot less attractive than its older sibling.

If you compare these two BTG slots, you'll find the game mechanics to be almost alike: Both have the Cascading Megaways with a max. of 117,649 ways, the paytable is identical, and on both you trigger the free spins by landing at least three scatter symbols (unlike Bonanza, where four are required).

WWTBAM has a slight edge over Extra Chilli, when it comes to average RTP in base game. In fact, the base game is the main reason to play this slot; it's highly recommended for wagering purposes.

The free spins however, are A LOT harder to trigger on WWTBAM than on Extra Chilli, and on average they pay less, at least when you consider non-gamble free spins. Personally I hate gambling for more spins, both on WWTBAM and Extra Chilli, and the gambling mechanism on WWTBAM is just too tilting for my taste. Those 50 spins seem practically impossible to reach - I only know of two players, who have actually managed to get there.

In fact, the gamble feature is the reason I'm only giving this slot a 6/10; it's just too scammy imho. Overall WWTBAM doesn't bring anything new or better to the table compared to Extra Chilli. It's supposed to give Max Megaways more often than Extra Chilli and Bonanza, but that's not my experience at all.

A slot from Big Time Gaming based on the famous game show Who Wants to be a Millionaire. This is one of Big Time Gaming's megaways slots, built with a maximum of 117649 ways, in both the base game and feature. It comes with 6 reels and can be played and enjoyed for as little as 0.20 per spin.

The free spins feature is triggered by getting 3 or more scatter symbols, this then gives you a bonus where you get to decide if to accept the 8 free spins or to gamble for more, if you choose to gamble then you have to pick correctly out of for possible answers A, B, C or D. This can get tricky as sometimes the least likely answer is the correct answer. You can choose at any time to take the spins and start the free spins or go risk for more spins.

Most of the time I will take 14 or 16 spins and just see how they go and can get good results with that. Out of all the thousands of spins I have done on this slot there have been about 13 features so far and that meant about an average of one every 270 spins.

The best feature win has been 160xBet and the average is about 50xBet. That should give you an idea of what to expect from this slot. I would have to say there are better megaways slots out there however so keep that in mind as you play this slot. Don’t overstay on it. The base game can occasionally throw out a good win and the best one for me has been just under 73x bet. RTP is okay at just above 96% at 96.24% and since it's BTG they are the same RTP at all casinos.

DISLIKED

Sometimes however it can take many hundreds of spins and the longest has been 550 although currently it is 661 and counting! The base game can be brutal and will eat through the balance the longer you stay on it. If you have taken a long time to trigger the free spins would you really want to risk your 8 free spins to gain an extra 2. Only if you get 4 scatters would you get a free pick without losing the 10 spins. By the way one of my earliest features paid less than 1x! Now that was a shock.

When i first tried this game i could see big potential. I even dreamed of managing to go up to the 20 free spins. That never happened. I have trigerred the bonus multiple times. I cannot complain, sometimes the bonus was good. But most of the times it wasnt. The design is pretty amazing and it really gives you the who wants to be a millionaire vibe. But nothing more.

DISLIKED

There are plenty of reasons, I dont play this game anymore. First of all, when you manage to trigger the 8 free spins bonus, you have the chance to go up to 10 free spins. But if your pick is wrong, you lose the whole bonus. This happened many times, and its one of the main reasons I stopped playing this slot. One more thing I didnt enjoy was the high difficulty level to reach the 20 free spins. Also, when you first trigger the bonus its really difficult to trigger it second time.

Who wants to be a millionaire is a slot by Big Time Gaming game provider that was released around a year ago or so. I was quite intrigued about this game release due to the fact that it was inspired by the famous television show called "Who Wants To be a Millionaire?" with the purpose of players answering questions, using options as calling a friend and asking audience for votes and if all questions are answered correctly, becoming millionaires. I remember watching the show so I definitely had a nostalgic feeling about this game release.

If I have to be completely honest, after having played this slot several times, I'm not a huge fan. The slot has 5 reels and it pays megaways and except for the background music it looks and plays like a regular BTG megaways slot- nothing too unique about it. Also, when I triggered the free spins for the very first time, I was quite disappointed. Why? Well, if you get 3 scatter symbols, you get 8 free spins and as most BTG slots they allow you the opportunity to gamble them. In this case, you need to choose one of the letters- A, B. C, or D as answer to questions and although it is inspired by thhe original show and allows you to choose "call a friend", "50:50" and "audience vote", for me it doesn't make any sense as there's no logic involved- there are no questions asked so it's just picking something randomly. Also I would recommend to be very careful with this gamble- only once I gambled my 8 spins hoping to get to 10, I chose the answer that had the most "audience votes" and yet it wasn't the correct one and my bonus was completely lost. It's frustrating and triggering the bonus already can be difficult.

To summarize, I'm not a huge fan of this slot, I think it's a decent game with nice graphics and as most megaways slots, there's good winning  potential, yes. In my experience the game can give solid base game wins with good megaways that helps to keep a steady balance but I haven't been lucky with it and haven't had more than 70x bet win. It's a slot I would play for wagering but again, I suggest to be very careful if you're thinking about gambling the spins as you might as well end up with 0.

Big Time Gaming asks “who wants to be a millionaire?” Me…me…me! That was my initial answer, until I played the blardy lousy game - sheesh! I guess everyone knows where this game comes from, or inspired by which popular TV show. Honestly speaking, I hardly watched that show anyway, it wasn’t one of my favourite reality shows, so expectedly, this game isn’t one of my favourites either. However, I can say that it’s a hot favourite with my trash bin! Hahaha.

Okay, so I admit that I have never liked any of BTG games. Bonanza and Danger High Voltage are hot favourites to some punters, nothing more than for their incredibly huge win potentials, but somehow, even these same punters could not favour this millionaire game. I guess it was really meant to make BTG an overnight millionaire, not the punters!

Despite the huge winning potentials, Who Wants To Be A Millionaire has got literally nothing to excite me! And typically of all BTG games, you could be spinning for thousands of spins without getting even one Free Spins Game! This is the main reason why I have always kept away from BTG games – to me, it is totally unacceptable! Then there is also that 6-reels 7-rows format, the blardy small icons of the game, and the non-paying Wild and Scatter symbols. Argh! 117,649 ways to win? Yeah right, a damn good attention grabber, but a damn lousy pay master!

The only good thing about this game is the unlimited win multiplier during the free spins, but awarding only 8 free spins is not to my liking at all. Moreover, you need to gamble that 8 free spins in order to get more free spins, up to 50, but it has always killed my gamble at 10 free spins! Worse still, the free spins paid me 0x, 3x and 6x wins, and that got smoke billowing out of my ears!

DISLIKED

After 3 separate sessions on the game, I can honestly say that this game is only meant for my TB…my trash bin! Play the game and you’ll end up ‘dead’ soon enough! Win from it? Don't count on it!

Absolute trash and another fail for BTG who have went from the best provider to the worst provider in the space of 6 months.

DISLIKED

Everything. This game should be named "starquestion" because it is basically starquest with questions only it pays much less and scams players out of freespins on the regular. I have just had 500 spins without any bonus, the last three 8 spin bonuses I had all lost the first question on 82% 84% and 89%. I know 100s of people it did the same thing too. There is something severely wrong there and they can blame volatility and claim potential all they like, it wont change the fact that 100s of us (that I am aware off but worldwide more likely tens of thousands) have had the same awful experience. How btg where allowed to put that cheating swindle of a feature in this game and get away with it I will never know. this title is only got that 1 star because there is no way to post the review without clicking it, it does not even deserve 1 star. Btg have went to total crap, blueprint have shown how to make good games with megaways and after three fails in a row, donuts, millionaire and holy diver, I hope btg disappear or get banned from online slot provision or enough people get wise to their poor programming to make it public knowledge they have had their time and their slots are not worth playing any more.
