Jungle Boogie Playtech

With the Jungle Boogie video slot game you go back to basics. Playtech has the simplest classic slots ever. I like to play them from time to time but I cannot say that I am a huge fan though. They are probably trying to bring closer the oldest land based machines to the online world. I think it is good to run away from all those complex slots with so many features and once in a while play a game like this one. But the thing is I always get bored, especially if the game is not willing to pay anything.
This is a 3 reel and 1 pay line video slot game where you can choose to play with 1, 2 or 3 coins per spin. There is no wild, no scatter and no free spins in this game. The graphics are not that impressive and the name itself suggests that this is a jungle themed slot. There are 6 different animals used as symbols and they are cheetah, tiger, fish, parrot, monkey and a gorilla. In the background there is an abundance of the colour green which also adds to the jungle theme.

I played this game with 3 coins per spin, but I got bored very fast. You can see at the upper right corner that if you land 3 tigers that they can bring you the highest win of 4000 x bet. But after playing awhile I realized that that is not going to happen so I quitted.

With Jungle Boogie we get the very common Playtech classic machines’ interface, namely silhouettes of land-based, one-armed bandit machines focusing on our actual used one. I’m not really a fan of this solution and though I know they just want to simulate a realistic environment of a casino hall but I more prefer to not reduce the important visible area which is impossible with choosing this graphic scheme. Sadly, the disadvantage of it can be promptly realized as the symbols on the paytable front panel are hard to see and recognize and of course the animal illustrations also can’t be perfect in these circumstances. Anyway, I like this colourful ‘Jungle-animals’ themed slot and sometimes it really can be a recreation sequence to play with it especially after I’m bored with the traditional 7’s and Bars symbols.

Jungle Boogie is a very standard 3-reel, 1-paline machine with coin denomination from €0.02 o €20 and giving possibility to use 1, 2 or 3 coins per spin. It follows the ‘back to the basics’ theorem as it doesn’t offer Wild, multiplier or any other feature which is absolutely not a problem in my eyes. The Jackpot of the slot playing with 3 credits is 4000 coins if 3 Tiger figures are on the payline at the end of a spin and though it no big deal at all but a little bit surprise for me that Jaguar big cat is relegated among the worst paying emblems and even parrot and monkey are ahead of it in the rewarding list. I think this noble animal doesn’t have much reputation and popularity among the developer’s staff.

By the way, the little plus that the game brings is just one single Piranha figure on the line is enough to double the initial stake and it’s more nice that it doesn’t necessarily need to be on the first reel to pay back. I’ve never tried yet but this fact looks very promising if we have a task to get out of wagering requirements.

Looking at the slot in work I must say unfortunately it shows the signs of the very common problem at classic slots, concretely, it has a trend of long losing streaks. I always thought this is one of the main reasons that most of the players prefer multi-payline slots because this attribute really takes away the spirit from gamblers to use traditional products more often. Other than that I’ve never experienced any strangeness things while playing, it just normally does its job.
As I’ve said the main attractiveness of the game for me is to has great animal symbols and if I’m on my way to spend extended times at classic slots it is always nice to break the monotony and jump on Jungle Boogie at least for some spin.
