8 Ball Slots Playtech

Aim and shoot in 8 Ball Slots, a classic three-reel online slot with a distinctive billiards theme. Match up the all-important 8 ball, and you could win 2000 coins! Give this traditional game a try for free, or play 8 Ball Slots for real money at any of the Digital Gaming Solutions casinos listed below.

Starting a game of 8 Ball Slots couldn’t be simpler. Use the - and + buttons on the bottom-right to set your coin denomination. Then, push either “Bet One” or “Bet Two” to start playing. For the best odds, we recommend choosing “Bet Two”.

The goal of 8 Ball Slots is to simply get a matching set of symbols along the game’s single payline. All you need to win is to get 3 striped or 3 solid balls, but sets of identical balls pay out much more. The highest payout of 2000 coins can be yours if you get three 8 Balls while betting the maximum.

It has been a while since I played any classic slot at Playtech platform because I have some serious issues with them and generally consider them to be very poor but I don’t know why I felt it was a time to take a look at them and try a new one to give a chance to change my global opinion. So after opening 8-Ball Slots, the game I have never played before the ‘good’ old Playtech classic interface waited for me where we can see a land-based simulation machine with questionable satisfying design. I never understood why a big name in the business like Playtech invest so little attention and effort in its traditional series but I’m sure we’re many who love this kinds of gambling product and would appreciate quality games from this developer. Anyway, this slot has a little billiard theme as all of the symbols it uses are just balls. Because it’s a 3-reel, 1-payline machine the stupid winning line markers don’t cover the entire focus area which is very annoying for me and somehow I found the overall interface not as ugly or useless as others so I would lie if I say I loved what I saw at first sight but at least it wasn’t such antipathetic as most of the other products in this category.

So I started to play placing 2 coins as bets but my initial fear when I noticed that the balls are numbered from 1-15 meaning there are 15 different kind of available symbols so achieving any clean winning combination is more than challenging, so my fear is quickly realized as I never got any single winning combination until the first €15 was spent. My original idea was to play with a very little stake at the beginning just to get to know the game and feel myself comfortable so I started to play with just €0.40 total bet so you can easily calculate how many spins went by until I gained my first win. Maybe I would still play that session waiting for a clean win if the game wouldn’t offer that little feature that let the players to win some if 3 stripped or 3 solid balls arrive to the payline regardless the numbers on them. Such combinations pay x2 (solid balls) or x5 (stripped balls) and because the slot doesn’t offer any other feature like Wild or win multiplier we have to consider it as the most the game can give. The best possible win is worth 2000 coins if three 8’s pop up on the center line at the end of spin but I suppose not many of us could see that arrangement.

Needless to say, I wasn’t at this game too long and after roughly 30 mins I had to give up any hope that this game has the ability to force me to reconsider my point of view of classic slots here. I can say it was another disappointment for me but because I haven’t had any serious expectation I can’t say it would be a surprise for me at all. I could say again how hard it is for me to understand why Playtech treat this group of slots like this but I think it would be really boring so I keep it myself and just say unfortunately my first attempt on 8-Ball Slots wasn’t a good experience at all and I think slowly I have to give up any hope to find a good or just playable classic machine at Playtech platform. Shame on the developers for it!
